About the Role

As a Maintenance Person for Maria Mallaband care group you will be part the care homes team and as such work with other staff to ensure the safety of all the Service Users, visitors and employees. The work can be both physically and mentally demanding. Predominately the job is about Health and Safety checks of the building, environment and equipment. It will also require you to go into residents rooms and being able to feel comfortable around people living with dementia.

Professional

Main Responsibilities

As our Mobile Maintenance Fitter, you will be responsible for undertaking plant maintenance, repairs and improvements to ensure maximum reliability of all plant associated areas and to assist team members in aspects of plant operation.

Your responsibilities as the Mobile Maintenance Fitter will include (not exhaustive):

• Respond to plant breakdowns, when necessary and be responsible for the correct and efficient repair of equipment keeping downtime to a minimum with timely and safe adherence to the maintenance plan whilst complying to all relevant statutory legislation and the internal company Safety, Health and Environmental standards
• PAT Testing portable appliances in addition to demonstrating competences in Fault Diagnosis

• Continue to improve plant performance whilst maintaining safety, maintenance and asset reliability
• Contribute to the in-house development of the Computer Maintenance Management System
• Ensure that Van Stock Levels are Maintained

Main Responsibilities

The role of Materials Testing Technician will report directly to the Technical Manager working on the testing of Readymix and developing products. The role is both site and Laboratory based as you will be required go out on to the sites to obtain samples which is an essential aspect of the job.

As part of the prescribing team the post holder is responsible in supporting our GPs, Nursing. We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager for a large production facility near Norwich. You will support the site services and facilities of this busy manufacturing plant.
Your new role
You will lead the site maintenance function in providing both a reactive and proactive maintenance service on all operational equipment and facilities infrastructure. You will be responsible for workflows, service calls, annual PPM and planned outages. Supervising practice reception teams in sorting and streaming general prescription requests, so as to allow GPs and clinical pharmacists to review the more clinically complex requests. The role will also require pharmacy technicians to support the implementation of national prescribing policies and guidance within GP practices, care homes and other primary care settings. This will be achieved through undertaking clinical audits e.g. use of antibiotics, supporting quality improvement measures and contributing to the Quality and Outcomes Framework and enhanced services. In addition, pharmacy technicians will assist in the delivery of medicines optimisation incentive schemes e.g. medicines switches and patient safety audits.
