About the Role

As a Maintenance Person for Maria Mallaband care group you will be part the care homes team and as such work with other staff to ensure the safety of all the Service Users, visitors and employees. The work can be both physically and mentally demanding. Predominately the job is about Health and Safety checks of the building, environment and equipment. It will also require you to go into residents rooms and being able to feel comfortable around people living with dementia.

Main Responsibilities

Main Responsibilities

The role of Materials Testing Technician will report directly to the Technical Manager working on the testing of Readymix and developing products. The role is both site and Laboratory based as you will be required go out on to the sites to obtain samples which is an essential aspect of the job.

• Possess good communications skills and will be able to liaise with stakeholders of varying seniority levels

The post holder will be responsible as part of the decontamination team for the disinfection of all endoscopes in the unit and those from other departments within the Trust. This will involve inspection, cleaning, leak testing, preparing scopes for placement in the endoscopic washer disinfector and completing the tracking and traceability system following strict departmental protocols. As part of the prescribing team the post holder is responsible in supporting our GPs, Nursing. Pharmacists, other clinical staff and reception teams, coordinating discharge summaries and medication reviews, playing a central role in repeat prescribing processes, liaising with our patients, carers, hospital and community pharmacies, responding to medication queries and updating medical records. We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager for a large production facility near Norwich. You will support the site services and facilities of this busy manufacturing plant.
Your new role
You will lead the site maintenance function in providing both a reactive and proactive maintenance service on all operational equipment and facilities infrastructure. You will be responsible for workflows, service calls, annual PPM and planned outages. You will be responsible for planning the maintenance schedule and ensuring timely completion of works carried out, delegating any maintenance issues to be resolved on each shift, including small projects, and managing effective works.
