Fixed Term Contract: 18 months.
Full Time - 35 Hours Per Week.
Our research team at the Centre for Reproductive Health are looking to recruit a highly motivated individual to support a clinical research group working on developing methods to preserve and restore fertility in males treated for childhood cancer.
The Opportunity:
The post offers an opportunity to join a dynamic research group within the recently opened Institute for Regeneration and Repair. The successful applicant will support all aspects of our experimental work aimed at developing strategies for fertility preservation in children with cancer. This post is advertised as full-time (35 hours per week).

Your skills and attributes for success:
Undergraduate degree in a biological science subject. Trained in animal research with current/previous Home Office personal licence.
Competence in cell culture, genetic manipulation (e.g. siRNA, CRISPR/-Cas9), RNA and protein extraction, hormone assays, Western and qRTPCR analysis, histological analyses including advanced imaging methods.
Evidence of ability to integrate disparate methodologies.
Proven ability to work to deadlines.
Knowledge of Health and Safety and GM regulations.
