Thorn Baker Fm have an exciting new role for a Facilities Manager paying £70k plus car allowance.
We are ideally looking for an experienced Facilities Manager with a Hard Services bias that has worked in commercial buildings.
You need to a good understanding of CAFM, BMS and Lifecyle.
As a Facilities Manager , you will be responsible and accountable for the profitable and operational management and service delivery of a large Pharmaceutical company in Slough. The site has 10 engineers. There's also a site in Windlesham which you'll visit once a week.
Create and sustain a cohesive, cost effective teams for the service delivery of the contract. Interfacing with the Clients to ensure the satisfactory service delivery of the contract deliverables.
You will be required to plan and organise the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) Programme, the Lifecycle Replacement schedule, reactive and any other ad hoc maintenance work required on site.
You will be expected to operate at a strategic level, with accountability for the leadership of the Maintenance team; and you will liaise with the wider team and our client to ensure the accommodation is maintained to an excellent standard where our customers have a first-class service.
Key Accountabilities to name a few:
• Preparation and execution of account management plans, operational programmes and PPM Planners.
• Create and sustain a cohesive, cost effective team for the delivery of contract under your control.
• Responsibility for all day to day management, control, co-ordination, execution of all operations under your control.
• Ensuring that project/minor works are completed on time, in budget and to the required quality levels.
• Carry out weekly reviews with your team to review
• Ensuring the availability of a 24 hour per day 365 days per year emergency on call service as required.
Effective sourcing and utilisation of materials and subcontractors.
• Monitoring the quality of the work carried out by the workforce through random engineer audits and the on-going review of breakdowns.
Role Requirements:
Facilities Management experience
Hard services background.
Full UK driving licence.
Having excellent computer / IT skills and proven knowledge of CAFM systems.
