To provide strategic direction on the management of the Trust’s estate, facilities and capital stock in support of the Trust’s plans. Participate in the development of the Trusts strategic plan and provide estates solutions, which enable the effective delivery of health services. To act as the professional lead for all estates, facilities and capital projects and related compliance responsibilities for the Trust.
• Manage the Trust’s Estates and Facilities Directorate to ensure a high quality, efficient and effective service; overall responsibility for strategies and policies
• Ensure that the environment is safe for patients, visitors and staff; complying with all statutory and technical
• Meet all of the national and local service delivery targets; including as applicable Carter, place-based and sustainability and transformation footprint
• Develop and implement reporting systems that provide assurance to the Board with respect to programmes of work and compliance.
• Support the achievement of recurrent financial balance
• Develop robust and effective partnerships with other departments/directorates including risk, operations and finance
• Contribute to delivery of the Trusts strategic objectives and business drivers
• Lead the estates and facilities teams, taking responsibility for all aspects of management and personal development
