Sr. Maintenance Technician- Injection

The Sr. Maintenance Technician ensures equipment uptime through timely, in-depth troubleshooting
and repair of all equipment failures. The Sr. Maintenance Technician shares knowledge of all production
equipment to maintenance team and Operators. The Sr. Maintenance Technician acts as a subject
matter expert on behalf of the plant in at least one of the following equipment areas: injection molders,
blow molders, fillers/cappers, labelers, case packers, conveyors, palletizers and/or stretch wrappers. The
Sr. Maintenance Technician performs troubleshooting and repair of facilities and auxiliary equipment
such as chillers, air compressors, Reverse Osmosis, other water filtration equipment and general
maintenance of the plant. Sr. Maintenance Technician works directly with Maintenance Technicians,
machine Operators, Supervisors, and Managers to resolve mechanical issues. The Sr. Maintenance
Technician develops and implements best practices aligned with Niagara’s maintenance strategies.
Through the use of preventative and predictive maintenance processes, the Sr. Maintenance Technician
champions continuous improvement efforts and assists with training in their designated focus areas.
Prior plastic processing and Husky experience is required.
Understanding of PET and HDPE plastic processing.

Essential Functions

• Adhere to and enforce highest standards in safety and good manufacturing practices plant-wide

• Train and lead Operators, Mechanics and Supervisors on technical procedures related to high-speed

   bottle manufacturing and packaging

• Work directly with plant leadership to develop and execute projects involving continuous        improvement, upgrades, and the resolution of re-occurring problems

• Rapid identification of machine problems to minimize equipment downtime with root cause

   analysis conducted to prevent re-occurrence

• Partner with other Sr. Maintenance Technician to resolve cross-functional problems

• Use of available software systems to analyze and identify issues to drive throughput

   performance

• Define requirements and lead overhaul efforts to rebuild equipment to like-new status during

   planned downtime

• Transfer knowledge to Niagara team members to develop operating and troubleshooting

   procedures in the following areas of bottling production specialization:

o Blow molding, inclusive of PET processing, machine set-up, mold changes, and quality

                  inspection systems

o Filling/capping, beverage processing methods, cap feeding systems with light closures,

vision inspections systems and laser date coders, quality/sanitation standards, and conveying                             systems

o Labeling technology, roll-fed and/or cut and stack, machine set-up, hot melt gluing systems,

                 and conveying systems

o Dry-end packaging including case packers, case conveyors, conventional and robotic

                  palletizers, and stretch wrappers. Machine set-up required for all pack size changes

o Common OEM’s for production equipment: Krones, Sidel, KHS, Sacmi, Tech Long

• Transfer knowledge to Niagara team members to develop operating and troubleshooting procedures in the following areas of injection technology:

o Husky injection molding machines consisting of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical

                  systems

o Auxiliary systems including resin handling/blending, resin drying, dehumidification, vision

                  inspection, conveying, and cooling systems

o Mold systems, internal hot runner and cold half maintenance, identification of component

                  wear and troubleshooting through detailed inspection of produced products

o Plastic processing at high speeds while maintaining tight part tolerances and acceptable

                  levels of acetaldehyde (AA)

• Create SOP’s for troubleshooting machines, and upload them to BDA system; responsibility for machine reliability and meantime before failure

• Regular and predictable attendance, as well as required on-call availability, are essential

   functions of the job to ensure equipment and facility up-time

What you will do

Our Security Systems Service Technician diagnose problems and perform service and repairs on card access, CCTV, burglar alarm systems, electronic fire alarm systems and other related building system products at customer sites.

How you will do it

What You Will Do:
We are currently searching for a Procurement Technician. What you will do:

Conducts preventive maintenance, repair, installation, and commissioning and general servicing of HVAC Automation Systems (including detailed troubleshooting of systems). POSITION SUMMARY
This position will work under the supervision of the pharmacist performing routine duties in packaging, distribution, non-sterile compounding, and record-keeping of pharmaceutical supplies. Serves as a liaison between the customer and the pharmacist. Effectively uses pharmacy computer systems to investigate and respond to missing medication requests. Consistently demonstrates an ability to assess a situation, consider alternatives, and choose the appropriate course of action. Demonstrates proficiency in preparing compounded intravenous medications, total parenteral nutrition products, and chemotherapeutic agents within compliance with USP <797>/<800>. Ensures that the sterile compounding environment and all equipment are cleaned and maintained according to policy. May educate and train peer Pharmacy Technicians, Technician Externs, Technician Trainees, and Volunteers.  Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients.

CORE FUNCTIONS
1. Identifies medications and other items for reorder as necessary to maintain a continuous inventory of medications and supplies. Receives, checks-in, and restocks medications ordered through the wholesaler and other vendors verifying all quantities against invoices. Assesses practical ways to deal with shorted items and short-dated or unusable items.

2. Manages users within the automated dispensing technology database as per policy. Investigates discrepancies and troubleshoots malfunctions in automated dispensing technology.
 

3. Exhibits excellent interpersonal skills and is customer service oriented in all contacts with patients, visitors and staff. Responds to standard requests from internal customers. Interacts primarily with department personnel, cross-department personnel, internal customers, patients and physicians.
 

4. May use automated dispensing technology or requisition to restock medications to nursing and ancillary areas after checking by a pharmacist. When allowed by law and policy, and upon completion of proper training/competency assessment, may restock automated dispensing technology using barcode scanning verification devices. Restocks medications to all areas outside automated dispensing technology which may include but not limited to trays, code carts and emergency boxes.
 

5. Compounds non-sterile medication products. Understands and appropriately follows all product worksheets/recipes for documentation and check processes. Understands and adheres to all applicable USP compounding guidelines. Demonstrates knowledge of and consistently performs calibrations of equipment and accurately measures components for compounding. Repackages bulk medications into unit of use packaging. Completes accurate documentation of medications compounded and repackaged per policy.
 

6. Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with all policies, laws, and regulations. Performs quality control activities such as monthly nursing unit inspections and pharmacy section checks in a timely manner. Completes documentation of refrigerator temperatures, and equipment maintenance activities as required.

 

7. Ensures the proper use of garbing and compounding techniques in accordance with policies and has knowledge of basic principles within USP <797> and USP<800>, laws, policies, and procedures that pertain to compounding. Performs compounding and labeling of intravenous compounds and hazardous agents to include chemotherapy using proper sterile and aseptic technique as appropriate to the site of care. Understands the different product lines in sterile compounding (patient specific and non-patient specific batch) and the differences between the various populations (Adult, Pediatric, Neonate). Completes all required environmental cleaning procedures. Documents all required tasks and other information per policy. Understands the safe handling of hazardous drugs and demonstrated the correct receipt, storage, labelling and transport process.
 

8. Handles narcotic medications following all federal and legal requirements as set through policy and procedure. Understands all regulatory requirements for receiving, compounding, repackaging, and distribution for controlled substances. Consistently adheres to all storage and inventory movement documentation requirements for controlled substances.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

 

Requires Pharmacy Technician licensure and active Pharmacy Technician certification OR Pharmacy Intern licensure in the state of practice.

Incumbents in Arizona are also required to provide the AZ Board of Pharmacy Wallet Card at time of hire.

 

Minimum of two years pharmacy technician experience. Ability to complete moderate to difficult mathematical calculations using a hand-held calculator is required. Strong customer service focus, exceptional communication skills, strong attention to detail, prioritization capabilities, superior problem-solving skills, and ability to multi-task. Must have knowledge of computer software, particularly medication management information system software, Microsoft applications and automated dispensing systems. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a member of the nephrology healthcare team, you will provide safe and effective dialysis therapy for patients under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse.

We are excited to be working with a globally recognised Oil and Gas equipment supplier who are looking for a time served Valve technician, who is willing to go offshore on an ad-hoc basis.

Within this role you will be focusing on the stripping down and preparation of client equipment. Aswell, as supporting with the assembly, testing and painting of valves and pumps.

Roles

• Maintenance of test equipment
• Stripping down and preparation for inspection of client equipment received for repair
• Assembly, testing and painting of valves and equipment
• Completing traceability reports and ensuring all stages of work completed and signed off

Person

• Happy to work offshore on a Ad-Hoc basis
• Must be time served
• Previous experience of working within a manufacturing environment
• Offshore certificate preferred but not essential
• Able to carry out additional tasks within capabilities, directed by workshop supervisor or manager.

The role is a Monday to Friday dayshift position paying up to £36000 p/a.
