The Role of a Craft Team

• A Maintenance Operative/ Craft Team carries the responsibility of the domestic repairs & maintenance upkeep of the premises, minor projects within the site complex and all compliancy needed for the running of the site.
• The Craft Team to ensure that all parts of the environment are safe, welcoming, clean, hygienic, in good repair and sensitive to the needs of the students being looked after
• To provide, high professional standards of record keeping, and reports related to the site.
• To participate in and undertake regular audits of the quality systems as necessary.
• To undertake regular inspections and address works from contractors which fall below required standard.

- Update the Service Now ticketing system, ensuring the call has been logged and all notes, progress and required actions have been input promptly and accurately.
- You will be responsible for collection of devices and other items from our Core sites on a weekly basis for your region.
- After identifying the issue, you will talk the first line support staff or end user through the required steps to resolution or escalate Hub Support Engineer when necessary.
- Work closely with Knowledge Management and other Resolver Teams to improve, document efficient processes and provide checklist when required.
- Manage expectations of your Stakeholders within Clean and Waste.

Base Location – Clear Water Court Reading.

Working Pattern - 36 hour per week.

Other immediate demands - Travel between Reading Hub sites and on occasion London sites to cover leave.

We are a Ministry of Justice business and provide critical and time-bound services to HMPPS, and are looking for a Maintenance Operative with a combination of:
- Experience of prison environment
- Experience of use of hand and power tools
- Previous experience of working within a building fabric / Hard FM environment
- Up to date First Aid at Work Qualification
- Level 2 qualification in English and Maths
- Good Health & Safety knowledge.
- Excellent organisational, time management and people skills.

Drinks Dispense Maintenance Technician

Location: Covering the Cambridge / Huntingdon area!
Salary: £31,198 basic + Bonus + overtime + company van with personal use

This is an exciting opportunity to join Innserve!

You'll be one of around 450 Innserve Technicians who provide quality technical services for the installation and maintenance of drinks dispense equipment.

We provide cover from 09.00 - 21.00 so you'll be part of a rostered team which visit a wide range of customers who are experiencing problems with their drinks dispense equipment. It will be your role to fault find and complete the fix safely as quickly as possible.

You will be responsible for:

- Working for 43 hours per week on a roster pattern (one weekend in every five) providing service cover from 9am to 9pm.

- Providing quality technical services for the installation and maintenance of drinks dispense equipment.

- Accurately record all work completed including stock control and asset movement.

- Meet productivity performance levels to achieve service level agreements.

- Diagnose and fix faults in drinks dispense systems.

- Provide a good customer experience at all times.

About You

- You will have a practical approach to work with experience in a technical or engineering role.

- You will be able to work with tools and enjoy problem solving technical issues.

- A technical apprenticeship or NVQ qualification would be an advantage but is not essential.

- Industry experience would also help and may reduce training time needed although comprehensive training will be given for those new to the industry.

- You will be determined to succeed, deliver a great customer experience.

- You will be flexible and able to work independently.

- You will have a full driving licence.
