The ideal Motor Trade Diagnostic Vehicle Technician will be fully qualified and experienced within the Vehicle Technician role.

Typical Duties as a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic include but are not limited to:

- Carrying out Servicing and Repairs to a variety of Vehicles
- MOT Testing
- Performing Diagnostic Testing to identify Vehicle Faults.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Technician (Development Inspections) within the Infrastructure Planning Team in the Environment and Transport Department. We are looking for someone to carry out site inspections of Section 38, 184 and 278 developer related works for compliance with approved layouts in accordance with the Leicestershire Highways Design Guide and other associated standards.

About the Role

This post will entail interpreting works programmes, visiting sites and completing measurements and checks of works, responding to customer enquiries and supporting the preparation and maintenance of highway and street lighting records and inventories.

You will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.

About You

• BTEC Higher / NVQ level 4 in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification; OR Experience that meets the essential requirement, and evidence of continued learning and development.
• Experience working in an engineering setting, in relation to design, management, CDM, maintenance or construction processes.
• Good knowledge of current highway design standards, construction techniques, or maintenance standards.
• Experience of producing and checking specifications and delivery programmes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel to locations across the County as required.
• Good IT skills including the ability to learn and use the service specific software.

Core Role as a Clinical Trials Pharmacy Technician: To obtain and maintain Good Clinical Practice (GCP) training. to apply principles of GCP in the management of clinical trials and work within the Medicines for Human Use (Clinical Trial) Regulations 2004 and EU directive relating to Clinical Trials, to communicate with Investigators, Research Nurses, Trust R&D, Sponsors, Clinical Research Associates and Pharmacy staff during the set-up and running of a clinical trial, to ensure clinical trial protocols and SOPs are followed during dispensing of clinical trial investigational medicinal products and other drugs included in the protocol, to order and receive in clinical trial drugs, process receipt paperwork and acknowledge receipt on IVRS (Electronic Medication Supply) systems, to check stock levels and expiry dates of clinical trial drugs and keep balance logs up to date, to assist with the packing down and re-labelling of clinical trial drugs if required, to assist with the preparation for monitoring meetings, audits and inspections, to maintain Clinical Trial files ensuring items can easily be located and are presentable, to process returned clinical trial drugs and ensure the paperwork is kept in order, to participate in the statutory temperature monitoring of clinical trial stocks, to assist with the destruction of clinical trial medication, to assist with the closedown and archiving of clinical trial files, to represent the Clinical Trials Team to update the dispensary staff at meetings, to liaise with Research Nurses to update them on trial progress, stock levels etc, to assist in the collection of data as requested by the Senior Clinical Trial Technician or Clinical Trial Pharmacists, to assist in maintaining financial records, including the generation of invoices, checking payments etc, to assist with general administration such as organising set up meetings etc and be a point of contact within the Clinical Trials Pharmacy Team, to maintain clinical trial filing systems and drug accountability documentation for clinical trials, to use the computer system and other information technology in all areas of Pharmacy.
