RPS are seeking Logging Technicians for our United Utilities contract to deploying logging devices which will record acoustic information from the water network pipework enabling leaks to be detected.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual to gain entry to the water industry and to develop their skills and experience with one of the UK’s leading Environmental Consultancies. The pay rate for this role is Real Living Wage plus benefits. There are a number of potential locations for this role but we are particularly interested to receive applications from candidates in Merseyside, Greater Manchester and North Lancs/South Lakes (Cumbria).
This is a permanent full time role working 40 hrs pw Monday to Friday.

What you’ll be doing
You will be working outside, deploying and collecting logging devices to fittings on the water network pipework. The data you collect will be used to help locate leaks and reduce water loss for our clients. (Full training will be given).
Who we’re looking for
· You will enjoy working outdoors, as most of your work is conducted outside (rain or shine)
· A good standard of basic Maths and English
· Basic IT skills
· Willing to work nights, weekends and overtime as required
· Have good hearing
· Happy working alone or as part of a team
· Full UK driving Licence
