As the Maintenance Operative your role is key in ensuring all requested repairs, be that reactive or proactive and pre planned (via manager), are carried out to the required standard and within our SLA deadlines.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with previous maintenance experience within a field relating to joinery, fitting, plumbing, painting & decorating etc. You will be a highly motivated individual who can manage your own workflow as well as working within a team when necessary.

As a Maintenance Operative you will be responsible for the Health & Safety of yourself and that of all users of the property during, and after works have been undertaken and completed.

As part of your role, you will be required to purchase and manage materials using a company account card from approved Serco suppliers only. Vehicles provided by the company will be inspected regularly by employees and kept in a professional and clean condition.

Salary:

The NHS Band for this position is Band 4 which for regular hours works out at £25,147 rising to £27,596 pa (after 3 years).

However, as a Shift Maintenance Fitter working for our Trust and with the RRP included, based on our current shift pattern this equates to approx.£32,100 to £35,000(after 3 years) pa.

The Pharmacy Technician is to assume the following key responsibilities in delivering health services a. Undertake patient facing and patient supporting roles to ensure effective medicines use through shared decision-making conversations with patients. b. Conduct medicine optimisation tasks including effective medicine administration (e.g., checking inhaler technique), support medication reviews and medicines reconciliation. c. When required, utilise consultation skills to work in partnership with patients to ensure they use their medicines effectively d. Support, as determined by the Practice Pharmacist, medication reviews and medicines reconciliation for new care home patients and synchronise medicines for patient transfers between care settings and linking with local community pharmacists e. Provide specialist expertise, when competent, to address both the public health and social care needs of patients including lifestyle advice, service information and help in tackling local health inequalities f. Maintain a central role in the clinical aspects of shared care protocols and liaise with specialist pharmacists for more complex patients g. Support initiatives for antimicrobial stewardship to reduce inappropriate antibiotic prescribing h. Support the implementation of national prescribing policies and guidance within GP practices, care homes and other primary care settings. Provide training and support on the legal, safe and secure handling of medicines, including the implementation of the Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) e.
