Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer

Our client, a manufacturing company based in Telford are looking to recruit an experienced Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer. Our client has recently received investment which has resulted in new machinery being incorporated into the business. You will be responsible for responding to machinery breakdowns and faults, carrying out root cause and troubleshooting, and completing reactive and preventative maintenance activities.
As the Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for:
• Maintain and repair onsite machinery to ensure efficiency
• Respond to machine breakdowns and repairs in a timely manner
• Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance
• Conduct root cause and diagnostics on machine faults
• Ensure all maintenance records are kept up to date and logged currently
• Support with continuous improvement activities onsite
• Ensure health and safety regulations are adhered to

Skills and Experience
• Previous experience within a similar maintenance role
• Relevant level 3 qualifications in electrical or mechanical discipline
• Good working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Experience with PLCs and automation will be beneficial
• This role would suit someone who has previously worked as an Engineer / Maintenance Engineer / Multiskilled Engineer / Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer / Maintenance Technician / Multiskilled Technician / Mechanical Engineer / Electrical Engineer / Mechanical Maintenance Engineer / Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Harper Adams University is seeking an organised, motivated laboratory technician with great attention to detail who is capable of working independently within a close team structure. The post holder will provide technical support for the rumen IFM (Alltech) procedure which primarily focuses on characterising total mixed rations for their rumen fermentation kinetics. The role will also help identify fermentation kinetic parameters that could be used to improve diet formulation software and assist in the evaluation of dietary supplements. Applicants should be comfortable with data transfer and be able to manipulate data to facilitate curve fitting for the production of final reports.

The successful candidate should be:
• Qualified to at least honours degree level in a relevant subject area (or have 2 years appropriate laboratory experience).
• Experienced in laboratory work.
• Computer literate with experience of using Microsoft Office suite applications.
• Excellent in verbal and written communication skills and be able to interact at all levels
• Flexible and prepared to work autonomously or in conjunction with other researchers

Property Maintenance Administrator

We are working with an organisation that has a large portfolio of properties based around the Shropshire area that is looking for an administrator / coordinator to support with a range of facilities / property maintenance queries and issues. You will receive a flow of queries or issues that have been raised about their properties, and these will need to be checked and authorised for repair, before arranging a tradesperson to attend and fix the issues.

Responsibilities and duties will include, but not limited to:

• Taking a flow of calls and emails from tenants in rental properties where they might be raising queries or issues with their properties that need to be addressed
• Ensuring all information about the issue is understood and recorded accurately, and ensuring that urgent issues are dealt with immediately
• Investigating the issue to see what work is required.
• Gaining approval for repairs from management.
• Updating CRM system with all data so you can see what repairs have been completed and when, and the costs and authorisation information.
• Liaising with tradespeople to book in work to be done and booking in the diary with tenants so they know when to expect the issue to be rectified.
• Collating invoicing and passing to management for approval and raising payments.
• Seeing the query from initial call through to resolution.

Skills and Experience
• Has experience of working in a property maintenance or facilities maintenance role
• Extremely well organised to ensure all tasks are completed and resolved.
• Excellent customer service skills to ensure people who are complaining are handled with care and respect.
• Strong administrative skills
• A calming and professional nature that can build rapport with people at all levels.
