The Role

As a Grounds Maintenance Operative, you will undertake general grounds maintenance and gardening services including grass cutting, domestic painting, fencing, hedge trimming and flower bed maintenance.

The working hours for this position will vary between summer and winter. During the summer months, you will work 45 hours per week and during winter, you will work 35 hours per week. What we're looking for:

We are looking for someone who can work independently and as part of a team, delivering high-quality service to residents. This physically demanding role requires you to work outdoors year-round, in all weather conditions, while maintaining accurate records and sharing best practices to continuously improve our service. You will also need:

• Experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping.
• Ideally hold NPTC or Lantra qualifications in brush cutter, pedestrian mower, ride-on mower, hedge cutter, and PA1 and PA6 for pesticide spraying (training available)
• A strong understanding of health and safety and COSHH requirements
• To be comfortable with basic IT and mobile devices (training provided)
• To be punctual, with excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude
• Hold a full, clean driving license (van sharing in most cases)
• Build relationships based on trust and respect and serve as a great ambassador for Bromford.

This is a mobile role covering Tamworth and surrounding areas, so you'll be traveling extensively. Be sure you live close enough to easily cover these areas.
