Quality Control Technician
£26,300 per annum, plus bonus, Monday to Friday, 1pm Friday finish.
As the Quality Control Technician you will uphold the safety regulations of our client's company and inspect the production process to guarantee that all products meet quality expectations.this is 60% administration and 40% physical inspecting.
You will ensure that the finished goods meet the Customers requirements. As the role will be within a small team, you are expected to be flexible and capable of working in a fast paced environment.
Monday to Friday, only 8.00am - 4.30pm, and Friday 1pm finish.
£26,300 per annum, plus two bonuses, perm from day one.
Must have experience within a manufacturing environment handling quality.
Tasks and responsibilities
· Complete visual and dimensional inspection of finished parts.
· Complete visual and dimensional inspection of incoming goods
· Create specific reports for Customers (e.g. ISIR, FAIR, PPAP's etc).
· Complete first off inspections from the production the department (visual and dimensionally as required).
· Support the Quality Engineers with Customer rejections as required.
· Create and submit rejections for incoming goods.
· Manage the recording of process scrap data.
· Support the team with order dispatch and arranging collections.
· Create and manage concession forms and requests for customer orders.
· Ensure and manage the calibration of the equipment within both Quality and Production department.
· Support Purchasing and Finance with the management of stock and inventory as and when required.
· Completing Production documentation, ensuring it is correctly and fully complete.
Education and experience
· Minimum GCSE Grade C in Math's and English (or equivalent).
· Experience within a Quality focused position.
· Proficient in MS Office Programs.
