Environmental Professional
Provide broad-based project management and technical consulting support to Marine Corps environmental clients. Consult on environmental program planning, strategy, budgeting, and contracting. Consult on studies, analyses, and evaluations and demonstrate technical expertise associated with geology, hydrology, risk assessment, and environmental investigation and remediation activities. Analyze and interpret regulatory, policy, and guidance requirements. Conduct reviews of historic and publicly available information to develop environmental investigation and remediation strategies. Conduct research and analysis, data evaluation, and data interpretation to build actionable recommendations. Review environmental restoration technical documents, including work plans and reports for investigations and remediation. Prepare briefings and participate in meetings with contractors, regulators, and the public. Provide periodic technical field oversight of contractors at DoD sites currently undergoing environmental investigation and remediation efforts.
5+ years of experience in an environmental, technical, or project management role for environmental investigation and remediation programs
Experience with providing strategic and technical input for site restoration activities, including site assessments and investigations, remediation technology evaluation and implementation, and site closure
Experience in interacting with DoD and state and local agencies
Knowledge of Emerging Contaminants, including per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS)
Knowledge of RCRA and CERCLA programs
Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree
Additional Qualifications
Experience with project management
Experience with contracting and subcontractor or contractor oversight and field activities, including excavation, sampling, drilling, and well and system installation
Experience with overall environmental investigation and remediation, including sampling and analysis, geology, hydrogeology, human health, ecological risk assessment, evaluation of remedial technologies and alternatives, remedy implementation, and site closure
Experience with records management and project tracking
Experience with SharePoint
Bachelor’s degree in an Environmental Engineering, Sciences, or Engineering-related field
HAZWOPER Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $73,000.00 to $166,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
