Coppersmith Recruitment and Services Ltd is hiring Cleaning & Waste Operatives for a large warehouse on the outskirts of Rugeley. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure long-term work with one of the UK’s largest retail companies. Successful candidates may become permanent members of staff after completing a three-month probation period.

Responsibilities:

Cleaning canteens, warehouses, machinery, and washrooms
Hoovering and sweeping warehouse and office areas
Managing waste disposal, including breaking down cardboard, changing bins, and removing waste
General sanitation
Using cleaning equipment, materials, and chemicals (full training provided)
Maintaining clean and safe equipment
Reacting quickly to call-outs from the client
Complying with all Health & Safety legislation and policies
Requirements:

Must be able to commute to the site (ample car parking available)
Previous experience preferred but not essential (full training provided)
Hardworking, reliable, and motivated
Comfortable walking around a large warehouse
Able to work independently and in a team
Must have your own composite safety boots
Casual non-uniform dress code
Communicative English is essential
Valid DBS required (we can provide if needed)
Clean criminal background
Shifts:

12-hour shifts
Averaging 39 hours per week
Paid weekly every Friday
