Job Description
Job Summary:
The Payload Activity Requirements Coordinator (PARC) is the Payload Developer's (PD) interface for payload planning. The PARC works assigned payloads across all increments for the life of the payload. Assignments tend to be of moderate complexity, diversification or expense. Receives assignments in the form of objectives with goals and process to meet goals outlined. Normally receives instructions on new projects or assignments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
- Works with the PD in developing the payload planning software models for operations on ISS for each increment.
- Develops payload activity models used in other products such as the On-orbit Operations Summary (OOS), Planning Ground rules and Constraints (Gr&C), the Weekly Look-ahead Plan (WLP), and the Short Term Plan (STP).
- Delivers the completed payload activity models to the Payload Planning Managers (PPM) for pre-increment and real-time planning, at the completion of the baselining process.
- Supports the re-planning process and any updates for planning documentation and software if changes are needed
- Prepares products and supports the Team Engineering Change Request (ECR) Review for their assigned payloads, as well as the Readiness Check meetings in conjunction with the PPM.
- Requires expertise in the Operations Planning Timeline Integration System (OPTIMIS) suite including the Web Activity Dictionary (WebAD) and Score.
- Utilizes Microsoft Excel and Power Point extensively to build planning products.
- Uses the Operations Change Requests OCR application to facilitate planning updates required for near real-time execution re-planning as well as to document planning changes that impact the next immediate increment pair.
- Requires a basic understanding of ISS resources such as power, data, and video, and must also possess logic skills to build sequences of activities that facilitate efficient planning in the timeline.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university in a related field and a minimum of 2 years’ experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Other Essential Duties
- Follows all import/export requirements, consulting with facility import/export personnel as required.
Other Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of specific software (design, analysis, ERP…)
Other Qualifications
- US Citizenship with ability to attain/maintain government security clearance.
