This General Engineer (Direct Hire) position is located Operations Support, Requirements & Capabilities Analysis, Analysis & Engineering, Transportation Security Administration, Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Duties include but are not limited to:

• Serve as the Chief Engineer providing expertise on all engineering aspects of explosive and threat detection technology. Lead the development of new engineering theories, concepts, principles methods, applications, and practices. Recommend strategies to improve existing detection requirements and the establishment of new detection requirements for emerging technologies.
• Brief and advise senior level officials on detection requirements which inform existing core TSA screening mission needs and operational requirements. Conduct, attend, and review materials associated with Technical Interchange Meetings throughout the developmental and continuous process efforts with Transportation Security Equipment (TSE) manufacturers to assist with expediting capability development, ensuring effective testing methodologies, etc.
• Develop, comprehend, and interpret administrative policies, plans and procedures to determine the impact on the mission, programs, and operations. Recommend strategies to improve existing detection requirements and the establishment of new detection requirements for emerging technologies.
• Coordinate and manage the ongoing analysis of threat characterization data (e.g., micro-CT scans of explosives) and quantify detection technology limitations to advised management in supporting the prioritization of equipment investments to detect threats and establish detection requirements across all transportation security equipment.
• Develop detection requirements along with the Chief Scientist to ensure that the development of associated detection requirements is based on in-depth understanding of explosives, associated effects, and chemical/physical characteristics which has a direct effect on TSA's ability to counteract terrorist threats and activity on TSA's highest priority technology projects.
• Represent TSA as the leading detection requirements authority at technical forums, industry days, conferences, and delegations to discuss detection and false alarm capability gaps and future proposals addressing security effectiveness and operational efficiency capability gaps. Serve as TSA's representative at the DHS Science & Technology (S&T) Explosives Division and Transportation Security Laboratory to advise and define TSA's Research and Development projects and to develop program requirements and technical goals.
• Oversee and delegate detection requirements related work of support contractor subject matter experts and partner organizations (i.e. National Labs) to effectively prioritize and execute requirements development across the capability areas. Mentor other detection team members and staff members on the detection requirements development process to ensure the appropriate operational and functional requirements are developed.

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 years of experience in HR or General Affairs.
• Proven knowledge of HR practices and general office administration.

The Vaccines Health and Science Professional (HSP) is responsible for the promotion of a Vaccines Portfolio across customers and channels.  This position will require regular live in field customer engagement in addition to virtual engagements.     
    
The HSP is accountable for launching new products, deciding upon the best strategies to manage business relationships, understanding, and securing formulary access, and engaging in product promotion within the assigned geography. In addition, the HSP is charged with sales efforts and relationship development with customers and accounts, including Therapeutic Area Specialists, and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).

Role Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic training professional who specializes in creating and facilitating content that will be presented to new and developing leaders within CoStar Group.  The role will be based in Richmond, VA which is the training hub for CoStar Group globally.  This individual will be responsible for developing a training curriculum that is focused on developing future leaders in accordance with the company’s business initiatives and objectives.  This position will play a critical role in advancing careers and developing leadership skills necessary to drive the success of our teams.  

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop a leadership training curriculum that addresses various populations across CoStar Group (new – experienced manager/leaders).
• Partner with senior leaders across CoStar Group to understand developmental needs of their leadership populations, and design scalable content that meets their needs, including tailoring specific content when necessary for niche populations.
• Collaborate with other functional teams across CoStar Group to deliver and execute training programs effectively and leverage existing subject matter experts to drive content creation and facilitation.
• Develop training content, instructor manuals, and course materials for internal use.  Where necessary leverage third party materials to supplement and enhance training. 
• Evaluate training program effectiveness through assessments, surveys and feedback from key stakeholders and recommend modifications to course content based on data
• Facilitate program delivery and train-the-trainer programs

Basic Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree in Human Resource Development, Organizational Development, Talent Development, or other subjects related to Adult Education required from an accredited, not for-profit college or university
• 8+ years of experience facilitating enterprise talent development initiatives and programs and engaging adult learners in in-person and virtual trainings; prior experience associated with leadership development at varying levels including emerging leaders, managers in training, and senior leadership training
• Proven experience successfully developing future leaders and people managers through content creation and facilitation
• Minimum 5+ years prior people management experience- this experience will prove important when facilitating Manager/Senior Leadership training materials
• Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced and changing environment
• Ability to create an inclusive learning environment and adjust based on audience’s learning needs
• Proficient in Microsoft applications- Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
• Working knowledge and application of adult learning methodologies
• 10% travel (international and/or domestic) as required for business need
