About the roles:
Under the guidance of the Chef/Cook, the Food Services Assistant plays a crucial role in contributing to the implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of the Food Safety Program (FSP). Their responsibilities include providing a variety of quality food and beverages tailored to meet the individual needs and preferences of residents. The Cleaning Services Assistant, in a separate capacity, is tasked with delivering cleaning services that foster a safe, clean, and home-like living environment for both residents and staff.
The successful candidates will have:
- Previous experience in residential aged care or a similar environment.
- Food Handling Course.
- Current National Police Certificate (or ability to acquire).
- Knowledge and experience in chemical handling.
- Training or experience in cleaning.
- Experience in residential aged care food services.
- Experience in hospitality or catering.
