As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will be the main point of contact for clients and managers on site. • Be the responsible clinician for the purposes of the Mental Health Act 1983(amended 2007) and carry out duties in accordance to the code of practice.
• Renew and maintain Responsible Clinician status according to agreed procedures.
• Carry out comprehensive Risk Assessments and participate in Trust’s risk management processes
• Provide medical leadership to the inpatient ward team
• Maintain a high level of effective communication and work flexibly and cooperatively with other parts of the service including; other wards and inpatient units, community mental health teams, services and primary care
• Liaison with Families and Carers
• Complete reports for Mental Health Tribunals with the support of the Staff Grade doctor
• Attend Mental Health Tribunals or supervise other members of the medical teams in Tribunal work Assess for use of the Mental Health Act, complete consent to treatment and authorise Section 17 leave

Working 15 a week during the weekend, you will be an integral part of the housekeeping team at a service for men and women with enduring mental health issues, complex needs and complicated addiction problems; where you will be responsible for cleaning all areas of the service, including wards, office spaces, bedrooms and visitors area.

Working closely with the maintenance team you’ll ensure all areas of the service are spotless and be able to confidently deliver high standard cleaning services.

As a Weekend Housekeeper you will be:

• Maintaining required security standards of the hospital by following relevant policies and procedures as defined by the Hospital.
• An active member of the team with a range of responsibility over the day-to-day operation.

You will be working at All Saints Hospital, a specialist mental health service for people who are deaf or have complex communication needs. It is a culturally sensitive service which has been created to provide support and rehabilitation with care and intervention from both deaf and hearing members of staff.

You will be working at a multidisciplinary team at All Saints which have self-contained flats for men over 18 years old, to help them move along their care pathway to more independent living.
