Job Purpose
To line manage and lead a defined team of cleaners to ensure that the IEG group Stamford College and Borderville premises are cleaned to a high standard and ready for business operation. This is a working supervisor role to co-ordinate and carry out tasks such as unlocking the premises and taking off the alarm, ordering stock, stock control, maintenance of equipment, planning of works and work rota and carrying out cleaning duties.
Key Responsibilities
• The main duties and responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to the following areas: Assist the Estates Manager with developing a high quality cleaning service for the College and Borderville• Unlock and remove alarm from buildings
• Line manage a team of cleaners to include absence planning, monitoring and reporting, undertaking professional development reviews, delivering training and ensuring compliance
• Plan and rota cleaning tasks
• Monitor and audit cleaning quality and site condition
• Undertake cleaning duties, keep all health and safety inspections and training up to date and ensure compliance

JOB SUMMARY The post holder will support the support smooth running of clinics by performing routine tasks, both clinical and administrative, on behalf of the GPs and other health practitioners within the surgery. DUTIES & AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY Key Responsibilities To work in a patient-centred and holistic way, promoting an individuals well-being. Preparing patients prior to them consulting with a GP or senior AHP either in person or via Doctrin platform; taking brief history and basic clinical readings, where required. Sharing appropriate questionnaires with patients online prior to consultation for Long Term Condition management and reviews. Prepare for, obtain, test and report on, various patient samples. Explaining treatment procedures to patients. Support implementation, monitoring and planning of patient care. Completing basic (non-opinion) forms and core elements of some forms for GPs to approve and sign e.g., Insurance, Mortgage, Benefit Agency forms etc. Liaise with outside agencies e.g.,(removed the need to arrange admissions) to ask for advice, allowing the GP/AHP to continue their medical consultation. Support the GP/Health Practitioners with immunisation/wound care. Arranging appointments, referrals, tests, and follow-up for patients. Sort clinical correspondence and prioritising for the GP/AHP in terms of actions. Signpost any additional actions to other suitable clinical services; internal and external. Extraction of coding requirements from clinical letters and adding to notes. Working with clinical lead(s) on quality audits to support accurate coding of the patient record. Communications and Key Working Relationships Participate and be an active member of the team. Communicate effectively with outside agencies with confidence and sharing appropriate, relevant information to support patient care. Liaise, communicate effectively, and collaborate with the patient services team to ensure smooth running and transition of care.
