Job Description
To undertake the scheduled and reactive deep cleans across Prior’s Court School. You must have a sharp eye for detail, and be someone who can “think outside the box” and can build strong relationships with your team.

Monday to Friday
37 hrs per week
To operate various types of cleaning machinery such as:
Floor scrubbers, steamers, and carpet cleaners
To design and work to a pre-agreed schedule
To work to the agreed H&S policies and requirements including correct use of PPE and COSHH and to safely secure areas of work
To maintain communication with stakeholders to arrange and manage cleaning schedule around the routines of the Young People and staff (which can change so you must be flexible/adaptable)
Preparation of rooms as necessary
To maintain and report faults with deep cleaning equipment
Monitoring usage of consumables, and maintain an adequate stock as required to carry out your duties
To operate with a good eye for detail
Provide holiday and sickness cover to other members of the Housekeeping Team where required
Any other tasks as directed to meet the requirements of the role and to always operate in a style that is consistent with the values and vision of Prior’s Court.

Prior's Court was set up by Founding Patron Dame Stephanie Shirley, whose vision of a centre of excellence for children with autism became reality with the opening of Prior's Court School in 1999. We have since grown to support around 90 young people with complex autism aged between 5-25 years.
Since opening, our support team has grown from around 20 to 500 and we have built a reputation as a cutting edge educational, vocational, and residential facility for young people with autism.
Qualifications
MUST be a driver/car owner due to location.
