Carpenter (trainee) / Timber machinist required.

We require another Carpenter and timber machinist to help keep up with demand.
This is a physical job that requires good fitness and dexterity.

Although the work area is covered, you must be ability to work in an outdoor environment, sometimes off site.

You must work to a high level of accuracy and quality of finish.

Training will be provided.
However a good basic knowledge of carpentry skills and hand tools is essential, on application.
Previous use of timber machining tools such a moulder/resaws/crosscuts would also be an advantage.

As a Registered Health Care Professional working in immunisations, the post holder will work as part of a dynamic team in delivering a safe and effective service for the delivery of vaccinations for influenza and the COVID-19 vaccine(s) as well as other vaccinations required through the service. The post holder will undertake activities such as: clinical assessment, dilution and drawing up of the vaccine from multi-dose vials and post vaccine observations support.

In particular, the post holder will be responsible for:
• The configuration of the vaccination pod and vaccination station.
• Conducting clinical assessments.
• The review of complex medical histories and potential adverse reactions.
• Preparation of the vaccine prior to administration by the immunisers using aseptic technique.
• Ensuring the best possible clinical outcomes by using up-to-date skills and adhering to evidence-based policies and procedures.

The post-holder will also be involved in other clinical interventions as part of the ‘making every contact count’ work, including health checks.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Our client is looking for a General Labourer to join their team in the New Year, working near Newquay.

Responsibilities will include:

-Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, and edging.

– Plant and maintain flowers, shrubs, and trees

– Irrigate to ensure proper hydration

– Use hand tools and power tools to perform various gardening tasks

– Assist with grounds keeping duties such as raking leaves and removing debris

– Monitor and control pests and diseases

Experience:

– Previous experience in gardening or landscaping is preferred but not required

– Knowledge of different plants and their care requirements

– Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in horticulture

– Ability to work independently and follow instructions

– work with other team members to complete gardening projects

– Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain clean and organized working areas

Must have a CSCS valid card and driver’s license preferred due to location. There will be a pre employment drugs and alcohol test as well as a safety critical medical.

Hours of work:

Monday – Friday , days shifts, ongoing work

Rate of Pay £11 per hour

These will be PAYE positions so you will benefit from:

Accrued Holiday Pay from day one

Weekly Pay
No Umbrella payments or fees
Only Tax and National Insurance deductions and this will be shown on your payslip
