- Lead and oversee the preparation of secure postal shipments and armored carrier transports to the Dept of State, regional offices, as well as other end users.
- Monitor all deliveries to/from platform assuring that security controls are in place.
- Direct or assist journeyperson in daily task also in loading/unloading cargo and check to see that loads are properly distributed and secured while loading cartons in secured transport cages on a hand-operated power truck.
- Follow specified postal procedures for shipments, i.e., weights, labels, registers, and stamp cartons and ensures all mailing procedures are correct.
- Verify and record quantities and number sequences of all cartons assembled for shipment.
