Job description

As an Event Manager, you will be responsible for planning and executing a wide range of events, from conferences and conventions to major cultural celebrations.

Key duties include:

• Promote and market cultural events, including conferences, conventions, and trade shows, to potential clients, ensuring alignment with Bhutan Event House’s vision and target audience.
• Respond to client inquiries regarding available services, costs, and packages for venue hire, catering, audiovisual equipment, and other event-related needs.
• Planning and organizing Bhutanese cultural events aligned with the Bhutanese calendar, including festivals, New Year celebrations, and Tsechu events.
• Managing annual large-scale events like the Bhutanese concert featuring renowned Bhutanese singers and artists from Bhutan.
• Handling client inquiries, negotiating service packages, and ensuring events are within budget and delivered to the highest standard.
• Supervising event staff, contractors, and volunteers, ensuring smooth operations before, during, and after events.
• Organize participant registration, ensuring a smooth process for attendees and keeping track of attendance and event details.
• Managing event budgets, timelines, and logistics to ensure seamless execution of all details.

The Role

The Client Services Manager will join our Ticketek team based in Perth. The role will work closely with clients from WA’s most prestigious venues, ticketing world-class sporting and entertainment events.

As a Client Services Manager you will ensure each client receives a high standard of service delivery and continuity across their accounts. You will liaise directly with our clients as well as various internal departments such as marketing, web, technology and finance to ensure our clients maintain a high level of service delivery.

As Client Services Manager, your role will include:

• Event Building, Checking and Maintenance: Ensure the accurate and timely building of an event with information provided by the client in accordance with appropriate procedures
• Client Relationships: Partnering with Clients to discuss event ticketing build requirements and time frames. Delivering accurate event builds. Providing timely and concise reporting and insights
• Event Operations: Build and maintain events within the Ticketing System as well as manage ticketing operations on event day, including managing box office staff
• Customer Services: Be the main point of contact between the client/venue and the Customer Solutions Team ensuring accurate and timely information flow between the parties at all times

• Tertiary qualified
