The role of an Event Safety Steward is largely focused on customer service so you will need to be confident and approachable with a polite and friendly demeanor.

What will I do?

This is a pivotal role as you’ll be the first impression a customer will have!  You’ll maximise bedroom, meetings and events revenue opportunities through confirmed bookings and enquiries as well as proactively promoting the hotel whilst meeting client expectations.

FormatLab is a training programme that aims to create the next wave of entertainment development talent for Scotland.

We are looking for creative people from all different walks of life who have a love of non-scripted television, bags of enthusiasm and lots of ideas.

Successful candidates will take part in a nine-month traineeship which will include top flight industry training, expert mentoring from industry professionals and a fully paid production placement.

Please note, this is not a job in production. Rather than making television programmes, a job in development involves participating in brainstorms, coming up with, shaping and pitching new television programme ideas (in this case, Entertainment and non-scripted format ideas). Previous experience in the television industry is welcome but not required.

FormatLab is funded by Screen Scotland, BBC and Channel 4.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Total Experience 13+ years
• Excellent knowledge and experience in GTM (Go-to market) social media marketing, demand generation, or a related role within the IT services.
• Proven success in driving demand generation and revenue growth through strategic campaigns and technology partnerships.
• Strong understanding of the technology landscape, including familiarity with platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, etc.
• Demonstrated experience with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook) and best practices for business marketing.
• Strong analytical skills with a data-driven mindset to continuously improve marketing efforts.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
• Deep expertise in content marketing, ABM (Account-Based Marketing) strategies, and social media campaigns for complex IT services.
• Master’s degree in marketing.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and implement comprehensive demand generation strategies that align with our overall business objectives and leverage the latest market trends.
• Cultivate and manage strategic partnerships with technology providers, industry associations, and complementary service providers to expand our market reach and offer integrated solutions.
• ABM (Account-Based Marketing) Execution or Implement targeted ABM programs to engage with high-value accounts and accelerate sales cycles.
• Develop and execute a content marketing strategy that positions us as a thought leader in our industry and attracts qualified leads.
• Collaborate with sales teams to provide them with the necessary tools, resources, and training to effectively engage with prospects and close deals.
• Continuously analyze campaign performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize our marketing efforts for maximum ROI.
• Understanding and relating technology integration scenarios and applying these learnings in projects
