We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient storage, handling, and shipping of goods. The Warehouse Supervisor will lead a team of warehouse staff, coordinate logistics, and maintain an organized, safe, and productive warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with warehouse equipment, including forklifts and reach trucks, and be certified to operate them as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Supervision: Lead and manage warehouse staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Shipping and Receiving: Oversee the receipt, inspection, and storage of goods, as well as the picking, packing, and dispatch of orders.
- Safety and Compliance: Enforce safety protocols, ensure compliance with regulations, and conduct routine safety inspections.
- Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to maximize efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all goods are stored and handled according to company standards, and address any quality issues promptly.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports on inventory levels, productivity, and other key metrics as required by Office (HQ).
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or similar role
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics, and inventory management
- Proficiency with warehouse management software and MS Office
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required); additional certifications in warehouse management or logistics (preferred)
- Forklift licence
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a warehouse setting, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
