A new opportunity has arisen for a Procurement Category Manager to join a reputable Public Sector organisation in Greater Manchester on a 3-month contract.
The Role:
- You will lead on procurement projects to achieve optimal value for money on behalf of the organisation
- Prepare tender documentation and manage full processes above threshold
- Support procurement strategy delivery within assigned category areas
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Negotiate with suppliers to ensure value for money is achieved
You will need to succeed:
- A strong background in public sector procurement
- PCR2015 / FTS knowledge
- MCIPS or working towards would be desirable
- Available at short notice to start this contract
In return you will receive:
£400 - 450 per day depending on experience. This role is inside scope of IR35. The role is working on a hybrid basis, so you have the option to work from home up to 4 days per week - giving you lots of flexibility!
