We are looking for experienced, innovative and motivated IT Specialists to support enablement US AFRICOM’s mission objectives.
What You’ll Get to Do:
CACI has an excellent opportunity for an experienced, self-directed, Procurement Manager. This position is in support of a Department of Defense (DoD) organization, USAFRICOM located OCONUS in Stuttgart, Germany. This position is required to travel OCONUS.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Procurement Planning:
- Develop and implement strategic procurement plans aligned with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with IT leaders to understand technology needs and requirements.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and emerging technologies.
Vendor Sourcing and Management:
- Identify and evaluate potential IT vendors and suppliers.
- Negotiate contracts, service level agreements (SLAs), and pricing terms with vendors.
- Maintain positive relationships with key vendors and monitor vendor performance.
Cost Optimization:
- Analyze and assess costs related to IT procurement activities.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or service.
- Conduct regular vendor audits to ensure compliance with contractual terms.
Procurement Process Improvement:
- Streamline and optimize the IT procurement process for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Implement best practices in procurement, including the use of procurement tools and technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the overall procurement workflow.
Risk Management:
- Identify and assess risks associated with IT procurement activities.
- Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in procurement processes.
Contract Administration:
- Draft, review, and manage IT contracts and agreements.
- Ensure that contract terms and conditions are favorable and aligned with organizational needs.
- Work with legal and compliance teams to address contract-related issues.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS + 7 years recent specialized or AA/AS + 9 years recent specialized or a major cert + 11 years recent specialized or 13 years of recent specialized experience.
- Current Secret Clearance (no waiver) with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance
- Proven experience as an IT Procurement Manager or in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of IT procurement processes, vendor management, and contract negotiation.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with procurement tools and technologies.
- Knowledge with creating preparing RIP, DD1149, and DD250 forms.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Professional in Supply Management - CPSM) are a plus.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$73,800 - 155,100 USD
