The Opportunity
Orrcon Steel is looking for a Warehouse Team Members to join our team based in Marsden Park. Orrcon Steel is a manufacturer of steel tube and pipe and leading Australian steel distributor with nationally recognised brands.
Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you’ll play an important part in our warehouse operations, performing a range of tasks including loading and unloading products on and off trucks, picking and packing, as well as general despatch/warehouse duties.
We currently have multiple, full time, permanent positions across varied shifts (please be sure to note your preference in your application):
- Day shift 7:00am – 3:06pm (primary tasks include unloading trucks)
- Afternoon Shift 3:00pm -11:06pm (primary tasks include picking and packing product for dispatch)
You don’t have to come from a steel background. Full training will be provided as part of the comprehensive induction program, and ongoing support to learn all aspects of the role allowing for future career development opportunities. What Will You Do?
You will learn and be responsible for receiving and storing materials, assembling and loading orders, and dispatch duties, you will also:
- safely load and unload trucks and customer pickups
- operate forklifts, cranes and other processing machinery and equipment
- pick and pack from stock on-site to create orders
- be responsible for the safety of yourself and your co-workers
- ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through your service levels
