Unit Trust To organise, control and manage the operations of our gelato store.  BenefitsTask & Responsibilities Managing the shop front and maintaining a clean and organised environment; Managing the roster to ensure an adequate coverage during operating hours; Scheduling the opening and closing of the shop; Hiring and training new sta? members; Managing the sta? and enforcing occupational health and safety; Ensuring that the shop complies with health and safety regulations through sanitation standards, regular inspections and training sta? on proper food handling and safety procedures; Determining and introducing new gelato ?avours and products; Overseeing the “back of house” gelato production operations; Ensuring the quality of the ice cream through high standards for product preparation, presentation, and taste; Managing inventory levels, including ordering and restocking ingredients, supplies, and merchandise; Keeping track of inventory costs and implementing strategies to minimise waste and maximize pro?tability; Providing advice to customers re ?avours, ingredients, dietary requirements etc.; Monitoring sales and implementing strategies to increase revenue and reduce costs; Maintaining records of ?nancial transactions; Determine a relevant budget as approved by the owner and ensuring that all operating costs come within that budget; Developing marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones utilising social media platforms; Ensuring high service standards, managing customer service via emails ,and handling customer complaints; Identifying new target markets, introducing new products or services, and collaborating with other local businesses. Qualification & Experience Qualification: Diploma level qualification, or 3 years full time relevant work experience may be considered in lieu.
