Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Worker to join our client in Worksop

Shifts: Sunday to Thursday - 10pm to 06:30am

Pay rate: £12.67 - overtime paid at enhanced rate

Role responsibilities:

• Moving and sorting packages in a busy warehouse environment
• Lifting, up to 25kg
• Packaging and dispatching customers' orders
• Conducting general warehouse duties such as replenishing stock within the warehouse and palletising items.
• Display excellent communication skills, speed and accuracy
• Initiative, an eye for detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines
• Accurately follow instructions
• You may be required to use manual handling equipment for bulkier items.

The rate of pay is £28,000 - £30,000 per annum

This is a full-time role working fixed day shifts and the hours of work are:
- 7am to 4pm
- 8am to 5pm

Your Time at Work

As a Warehouse Team Leader, you will be responsible for:

- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse
- Ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, dispatch, and management of goods.

This role includes enforcing health and safety standards, managing staff, optimising warehouse processes, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations. The Team Leader will also monitor performance metrics and promote continuous improvement within the warehouse.

DAY TO DAY:

• Operate Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) on a day-to-day basis.
• Get involved in a wide variety of warehouse functions, such as inbound, outbound, and stock control.
• Lifting stock, wrapping pallets, tipping containers and hygiene duties.
• Adhere to all safe systems of Work and Standard Operating Procedures
• Picking and packing of leisure and garden goods for orders going to B&Q stores and customers' homes
• These roles also have the opportunity for temp to perm with the client after 12 weeks (about 3 months) due to it being a new site and the client looking to build their core teams.
• The ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.
• Any FLT licences are desirable, but not essential as training can be provided.
• Be flexible and capable of working efficiently to meet the demands of the operation.
• A can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
