- As a new District, the Procurement Analysts within the BOB will have the opportunity to heavily impact the development of local policies, procedures, standards, training, and standard operating procedures.
- Serves as the technical Procurement Analyst on acquisition policy and initiatives in support of the District.
- Serves as the technical SME in support of all contract actions, particularly complex actions with atypical acquisition strategies or requiring formal source selection procedures.
- Assists in planning, developing, and establishing District strategy, including support for the overall SAD regional acquisition program in support of the USACE and SAD Campaign Plans.
- Provides guidance and technical assistance, guidance, and training to all acquisition project delivery throughout the process.
- Conducts routine reviews of all contracts and purchase actions as well as periodic audits of designated contract files based on dollar value, method of acquisition, and other factors.
