Title:

Under limited direction, Executes cradle to grave purchasing activities (including bid, evaluate, award cycle, execution of agreements, execution of changes, price and schedule negotiations) for a specific category group across all projects.  

•    Negotiates favorable terms, volume discounts and long-term contracts with suppliers for the procurement of goods, services and supplies.

•    Drive cost reduction initiatives in a specific Category/Project group.

•    Understand, track, and forecast the key cost drivers and market factors for assigned Category/Project group.

•    Identify corrective actions and measures in case of quality or schedule issues with suppliers

•    Works closely with Engineering and the projects

•    Assures that problems will reported timely to the projects and senior procurement management

•    Help locate, analyze, and develop a consolidated supplier base to meet current and future Category/Project needs.

•    Create and maintain mutually beneficial long-term partnerships with suppliers to foster feedback and continuous improvement

•    Provide input to drive continuous improvement in all aspects of the procurement process, procedures and tools

•    Conducts the orderly closeout of Procurement operations, including settlement of claims and back-charges, and resolving punch list items assigned to Procurement

•    Lead price negotiations and for claim negotiations in their Category/Project Group.  

Skills required for this job are typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree and 7+ years of Procurement and Supply Chain Management experience in a global EPC company executing contracts in key industries, such as oil and gas, LNG, petrochemical, chemical, etc.

•    Experience in purchasing or subcontracts, including bid, evaluate, award cycle, execution of agreements, execution of changes, price and schedule negotiations, and commercial strategy.

•   Experience working in a PMC capacity

•    Proven track record in cost reduction programs

•    Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills in order to flow goals and directives and effectively communicate commercial solutions and concepts to procurement personnel and non-procurement personnel

•    Ability to work in a complex schedule driven work environment

•    Procurement experience in “lump-sum” business

•    Experience with e-procurement tools, such as e-bidding or e-auctions

•    Computer literacy as well as intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office products.

•    Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record in cost reduction and control.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Warehouse Clerk role will provide support in one or more functions of the warehouse (i.e. Material Movement, Inventory, Shipping, and Receiving). This role will report into the Supervisor of the area / shift in which they are supporting (i.e. Warehouse Supervisor, Inventory Supervisor, etc.)  The role will  require computer skills, with experience in SAP preferred. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform SAP and other data entry functions.

  · Maintain routine paperwork and documentation.

  · Interface with other Warehouse Clerks and departmental staff to share and coordinate workload.

  · Maintain a clean and safe work area in accordance with 6S guidelines.

  · Work within guidelines of basic lean initiatives, while preventing waste.

  · Participate in on-site lean initiatives and training.

  · Perform additional task as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years previous experience
• SAP Experience (2+ years preferred)

Reporting to the Corporate Procurement Lead this role oversees and performs the full range of procurement and administration activities associated with procuring of goods and/or services in support of various corporate functional areas.

The individual works within a small team with minimal supervision to:

• Contribute to the development of contracting strategies and advise internal customers on path to maximize the value of business objectives
• Solve complex problems requiring detailed knowledge of field and industry best practices.

• Perform and supervise store opening and closing procedures including counting register funds, completing bank deposits, opening and closing registers and securing facility

POSITION SCOPE

The Warehouse Quality Specialist is accountable for working cross functionally in the application, understanding and compliance of their assigned Quality Systems. The Warehouse Quality Specialist reports to the Warehouse Management

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate and assure the DC maintains a robust, standardized and effective Quality System which aligns with applicable regulatory requirements and Quality Agreements established with business units served.

• Responsible for leading local site implementation of annual Quality Objectives and Key Business Drivers established for DC operations.

• Ensure the DCs’ processes, organization, procedures, and activities are adequate to effectively meet the needs of the US Supply Chain and conform to all applicable regulatory requirements and regional standards.

• Promote a culture of Quality across the local organization that ensures management commitment and understanding of ISO and QSR regulations as they apply to Storage, Distribution and Transportation.

• Ensure effective implementation and execution of Quality processes conducted under the Quality Systems to accomplish expected requirements and performance.

• Use metrics and reporting to effectively monitor processes, report on performance, drive improvement, and provide cost savings to the business.

• Lead and/or participate in regularly scheduled Quality Leadership calls to ensure timely implementation of agreed upon actions and facilitate cross site exchange of performance and collaborative activities.

• Employ and share practices and tools to accelerate continual quality improvement into DC organization locally and across the region, initiating lessons learned and concepts; to introduce pro-active improvement and prevent recurrence of issues.

• Improve the benefits for the overall system to drive Business, Supply Chain performance and customer satisfaction.

• Responsible for managing and maintaining an effective local Quality organization, training, development programs, subject matter expertise, defining and assigning associates’ responsibilities, succession plans, establishing annual IIG’s and evaluating performance.

• Serves as a Designated Representative as appropriate to ensure day to day operations meet states’ licensing requirements for medical device and/or wholesale drug distribution regulations as applicable.

• Accountable for Quality System as the local Subject Matter Expert (SME), providing guidance and training, facilitating meetings, critical issues, and ensuring compliance to the following Quality Systems as assigned:

  • Document and record control, DMS Administrator

  • Training & Curricula / C2C DLA / GMP & GD

  • Order Fulfillment Claims support for root cause analysis and SCARs

  • Intracompany Claims

  • QMS Audits

  • Metric Data Analysis

  • Non-conforming processes

  • Supplier Management
     

• Assist in the execution of CAPAs and Validations.

• Designated business unit Quality representative for facilitation of remediation/rework activities with DC personnel. Provides on-site training on behalf of the business units on rework protocols when required

• Partner with Operations and Supply Chain Relations on customer related issues and driving claims to resolution where escalation is needed.

• Conduct and participate in audits as required in compliance with regulatory requirements, e.g. ISO 13485, 21 CFR 820.

• Other duties as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS EXPERIENCE:

• Experience in Supply Chain and/or Distribution Center Operations preferred.

• Knowledge and experience in a regulated environment; experience in medical devices and/or pharmaceutical regulated industry preferred.

• Knowledge and experience with Medical Device regulations, ISO 13485 and 21 CFR 820 preferred
