We are looking for a Procurement Assistant to work from our head office in Worcester for 6 month on a fixed term contract

You will be responsible for:

• Prepare and issue small material orders
• As and when necessary, obtain material quotations in accordance with the Site Team's/Contract requirements
• Provide support into invoice dispute resolution
• Process orders using term deals
• Making card payments over the phone for small transactional requirements
• Reconcile Purchase cards with coding and upload VAT invoices
• Support Procurement with the governance process to maintain templates and liaise with relevant approvers to explain to package approvals required and obtain signatures
• Support Head of Procurement with completion of Sub-Contract award processes
• To provide a complete administration function as required
• Produce reports as required

About you

• Experience of working in the construction industry preferable but not essential.
• Some procurement or buying experience preferred
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience of prioritising a varied workload.
