Lexicraft Ltd are recruiting for a Warehouse Supply Operative Apprentice. The successful candidate will work towards completing a Level 2 Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Apprenticeship over the duration of 15 months.
Job Details:
• Supporting the Team Leader: Logistics and the Purchasing, Stores & Logistics Manager with Purchasing, Stores
& Logistics in the Logistics Department and attain Production targets within budget to meet set targets of the
business.
• Hands on approach, handling specialist responsibilities in Purchasing, Stores & Logistics such as Logistics:
Despatch, OP16 Scheduling, Shipping Systems & Procedures, assisting receiving deliveries, Final Inspection
(checking for damaged/missing items), Purchasing & Assessment of Suppliers, QT9 Suppliers Module, Plastic
Preparation, Senator Guillotine Operation, Slitter Operation & Purchasing, Stores & Logistics Fault Finding.
• Assisting with the storing of stock, moving stock by various methods, picking, and packing orders, loading goods
for dispatch, maintaining stock records, documentation on our in-house systems EFACS.
• Use of a range of various equipment, machinery, and vehicles relevant to the Warehouse & Logistics Operative
Apprentice role including racking systems, material handling and forklift trucks.
• Undertaking training to self-develop skills in the Purchasing, Stores & Logistics Department including training
and development, appraisals, communication, structures by setting & maintain a team culture.
• Ensuring the Purchasing, Stores & Logistics Department is fit for purpose and presented to an excellent,
professional standard to satisfy Quality Standards.
• Resolving the Purchasing, Stores & Logistics Department technical issues & processes, including maintenance,
problem solving and dealing with Quality issues accordingly.
• Liaising with all personnel in Purchasing, Stores & Logistics Department & all Production areas across LXC
including Operations, Commercial, Customer Service, Design & Quality Health & Safety to achieve set goals &
objectives of the business adhering to Health & Safety Standards throughout the business.

Hours of work:
Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm, 2 x 15 minutes am & pm. 30 Mins Lunch (Unpaid). 40 hours per week
