CCTV Operator - Full-time - Bury

We are currently looking for a CCTV Operator to join our team

12 HOURS 4ON/4OFF WILL INCLUDE NIGHTS & WEEKENDS

## Job Overview
We are seeking a Control Room Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring and operating control panels, ensuring the security and safety of premises, and responding to emergencies.

## Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance systems and alarms in the control room
- Operate and control security systems, including access control and CCTV
- Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies
- Maintain accurate records by documenting all incidents and actions taken
- Communicate effectively with security personnel on-site
- Conduct regular checks of equipment to ensure functionality

## Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role is essential
- Proficiency in using control room equipment and security systems
- Knowledge of first aid procedures is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for report writing purposes

Person specification: REQUIRED Qualifications and Skills

SIA CCTV License is essential
SIA DS License is essential
Flexible and adaptable to work shift patterns
Excellent verbal and written English
Excellent telephone skills
IT and Computer Literate
Able to interact with customers
willing to do rotating shift pattern
customer service and control room experience
Operators will be required to undergo a vetting procedure or other approved security clearance before commencing duties as a CCTV operator.

Operators may be required to attend court and give evidence on the basis of their duties as a CCTV operator.
