What you`ll get up to as Compliance Assurance and Conduct Risk Specialist
This is a key strategic role in supporting the timely and accurate delivery of our annual Compliance Assurance plan, focussing on
key regulatory compliance and conduct risk themes. You will have the opportunity to embed a positive compliance culture across the
business providing risk-based oversight and assurance on compliance with policies, procedures, systems, controls, and governance
requirements affecting all business areas. Most importantly, you’ll be an advocate for our customers, including those who are
(potentially) vulnerable.
To give you an idea what to expect, you`ll :
* Apply a broad conduct risk lens to assurance work, , whilst balancing specific regulatory requirements with strong attention to
detail.
* Conduct review meetings with stakeholders to explain any findings of non-compliance in a pragmatic and collaborative way.
* Engage and challenge the business over assurance and monitoring work to effectively influence change.
* Draft compliance reports to a high standard, highlighting relevant findings and providing proportionate recommendations to
stakeholders.
* Liaise with stakeholders of varying levels of seniority to monitor and review processes from a risk management perspective.
* Be the SME for our customer outcomes testing framework, providing advice to first line users and maintaining internal process
documents, procedures and records.
What we look for in you
* Hands on and recent Compliance experience in an FCA regulated environment, from a second line assurance perspective.
* Specialist knowledge of conduct risk with a strong focus on the Consumer Duty and good customer outcomes.
* Good understanding of regulatory expectations for Vulnerable Customers. Product governance and fair value in insurance.
* Working knowledge of other relevant FCA rules applicable to Insurance, including ICOBS, SYSC, DISP.
* Collaborator approach and active listener
