Comply with the requirements for investigation by the Trust Rapid Review Group. Support Directorate Manager with audit compliance with Duty of Candour. Signpost staff to appropriate services for support if required during/after the investigation process. Provide information to the Medical Director/Director of Nursing and Quality for the revalidation of staff in accordance with the GMC/NMC requirements. Ensure lessons are shared across the Directorate and Trust following identification of the root cause of incidents/complaints to mitigate future risk. Work with multidisciplinary teams, leading the RCA process, collating responses and then communicating actions and any changes to practice. To work with the Clinical Governance Lead on agreeing any education/training requirements as a result of incidents/complaints. The Head of LMNS Quality and Safety is a member of the LMNS Senior Leadership Team.
