We are looking for an experienced Quality Manager to join a well-established company within the medical sector, to lead and develop their Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and driving continuous improvement.

Some of your main responsibilities will include -

• Manage quality department by communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring and appraising results.
• Lead external quality assurance audits as required and Audit systems based on ISO 13485 requirements.
• Monitor the entire production cycle and perform regular tests to identify potential malfunctions as early as possible.
• Implement and monitor corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), non-conformance reports (NCRs), and risk management processes.

The ideal candidate will have 5 years' experience in a similar role and have knowledge of quality standards including ISO 13485, UKCA and MDR.

Engineering experience with metalwork and plastic moulded component is preferred.

You will be responsible for facilitating the implementation and development of the Quality Management System (QMS), and ensure that information, training and instruction and task-specific advice on quality management meets the needs of employees.

About you

• Associate member of the Chartered Quality Institute (CQI).
• Internal Auditor (ISO 9001:2008) with demonstrable experience of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd party audits.
• Diploma in Quality Management and ideally educated in a Construction / Civil engineering discipline e.g. Building / Civil / Mechanical / Structural Engineer, or equivalent.
• Demonstrable site-based civils/aviation experience is preferred.
• Experience across a range of construction disciplines (civils, building etc) would be beneficial.
• Good presentation, written, analytical and IT skills.
• Training and presentation experience throughout all levels of an organisation, preferably trained to 'Train the Trainer' level.
• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to guide and educate/train at all levels.
• Self-confidence to build strong working relationships internally and externally.

Job Title: Quality Manager - Global Pharmaceutical Company

SRG are working with a global pharmaceutical company to help them find a Quality Manager to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual who has experience in a quality based role with relevant industrial experience.

This is a great opportunity where you will deal with various situations, which you will need to provide solutions, so good problem solving skills are a must. Within QA you will be presented with issues and business proposals which you will be asked your advice to ensure quality and the patient is not affected while allowing us to grow and develop as a competitive business. You will work cross functionally with different teams, gaining experience of providing key project management direction, pilot plant systems, analytical systems, medical devices, utilities and facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Providing review and approval of validation lifecycle documents from a variety of QMS within the company. Provide meaningful comments to ensure compliance with regulatory expectations/requirements.
• Provide quality oversight of internal business groups and external services partners inclusive of the following quality processes:
• Change control
• Deviation investigation inclusive of CAPA.
• May support project work as a QA representative, quality program or team activities.
• Provide advice and consultancy to GSK project teams, internal business groups and external partners to reduce regulatory risk to GSK.

Requirements:

• Proven working experience in biopharma/pharmaceutical Industry related to Quality Assurance Job scope.
• Experience of validation of analytical systems, cold chain storage, secondary manufacturing equipment, utilities and infrastructure. Computer validation if possible for networked systems and corporate facing applications.
• Ability to manage workload prioritisation in a fast paced changing environment.
• Excellent organisational skills
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• A good team player and able to work independently.
• Experience with key Quality activities (i.e. Deviations Change Controls)
