Purpose of the role
We are looking for QA-QC Manager based in Jabodetabek to develop & implement the QA QC guidelines to the supply chain to serve the needs of clients across APAC markets.
As a QA-QC Manager, you will be responsible for the strategy and implementation of quality assurance and quality control for Promotional Print and Packaging, Displays and signages, Temporary and Permanent Displays, Digital POSM, and marketing activation delivered by the supply chain in Indonesia.
Working collaboratively with operations and suppliers to develop and implement quality assurance and QC process improvements. This role is responsible for the defined services in Indonesia, based in Jakarta.
Key Responsibilities:
QA QC processes and compliances
- Develop QA strategy for preventing defects, avoiding failures to ensure reduction or elimination of failures in quality.
- With QA, focus on the product quality, that guarantees that the processes, QC standards, and procedures are suitable for the various categories for the above scope, and are properly implemented in the QC plan.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control guidelines and processes to ensure that products and services meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Developing standard QC reports for production and installations
- Provide expertise on process of quality improvements with operation team
- Implement QA/QC processes with suppliers, conduct refresher training (need basis)
- Preparing NCR and corrective action plan for QC failures
- Conduct internal audits to verify that quality control processes are being followed.
- Continuous improvements to analyse processes, identify weaknesses, eliminating problems or gaps to help improve the standard of quality within the supply chain.
- Keep up to date with industry developments and new technologies that can improve quality control processes.
Onsite QA/QC
- Oversee the inspection and testing of products to ensure that they meet quality standards.
- Develop and maintain quality control protocols and procedures, including inspection plans, testing methods, and data analysis techniques.
- Manage the QA QC audits of suppliers, ensure full compliance by supplier to their processes.
- Evaluate new suppliers and products to ensure that they meet quality standards.
- Monitor and assess prototype production to set up QA QC for mass production.
- Monitor production quality control, ensure adherence to QA/QC process.
Inspections, Shipping, and Installations
- Inspection of finished goods – matches prototypes and meets QC standards.
Post campaign review
- Ongoing QA-QC process improvements and suggestions
- Communicate quality control results to management and take corrective action where necessary.
- Implement QC measurement matrix and enforce corrective actions.
- Monitor and review customer complaints and feedback to identify areas for improvement in quality control processes.
Skills, knowledge, experience and exposure
- Any bachelor’s degree but preferred in a relevant field of supply chain management, logistics, business administration.
- 10+ years of experience in QA-QC and supply chain management role in commercial print, Point-of-Sale (POS) industry
- Must have in-depth understanding of various printing and POS manufacturing processes, and raw materials used in the Print and POSM industry.
- Knowledge of QC, supply chain processes and systems, such as procurement, manufacturing, warehousing, and transportation
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and standards (e.g. customs regulations, hazardous materials regulations)
- Abilities to develop QA-QC processes and implementation in field work.
