Promote high standards of care through the demonstration of clinical expertise Caseload Management Facilitate the creation of a positive learning environment in the work place where staff development is encouraged and supported Planning and supporting pre and post registration students clinical experience Teaching, supervising and facilitating the learning of one or more students undertaking training leading to a community specialist practitioner qualification Assessing students fitness to practise Supporting the induction of new staff and competency assessment and sign off of these competencies (to include established staff). Working with the PCN Managers and Head of Adult Nursing to identify training needs for the service Working and liaising with Higher education Institutions and others regarding development and delivery of learning programmes Long-arm students working with an experienced mentor Participate in the recruitment and selection of student District Nurses To assist the caseload holder with clinical aspects of performance management. To deliver on KPIs Support implementation of the quality strategy within the teams.
