Reporting into the Senior Quality Engineer you will support operations driving internal and external quality issues. Here at Serco, we are looking for a Quality Administrator Apprentice to support the Learning and Development team in the administration to support the evaluation and enhancement of our learning programmes ensuring the highest of quality in content, delivery, and learner experience. Working in the Quality Team you will develop understanding of tools and techniques used to monitor quality of delivery to identify trends which may be misaligned to occupational standards and/or awarding organisation guidance.

You will learn hands on experience in Quality Assurance processes to support continuous improvement in a dynamic learning environment.
As part of this you’ll:


- Quality Assurance

- Assist in the review of training delivery methods.
- Support to ensure that learning programmes meet with regulatory, industry and or organisational standards and assist in audits or sampling when necessary.
- Assist the generation and analysis of customer feedback to understand challenges and areas for improvement, and ensuring alignment with quality standards and best practice, contributing to a positive learning experience.

- Support relationships with Awarding Organisations, Partner Providers, Line Managers, Learning Specialists, and Development Coaches to ensure that quality standards are maintained.

Here at Serco, we are looking for an experienced Data Quality Manager to join our team at the Asylum Accommodation and Support Services Contract. AASC offers a range of improvements, with particular focus on assisting individuals through the asylum system.

The Analytics and Performance team is a new function within the AASC contract. The department will be responsible for producing accurate, current, and insightful Management information to provide all contractual, external and internal functional, performance and insight reporting and the assurance of data quality. The team is also responsible for optimising service performance, driving adoption, effective business change, and ultimately helping to develop a data-driven organisation.

The key reason for the role is to support the Head of Data Analytics & Strategic Performance to ensure quality of data and data integrity across all systems and processes. You will work with Serco group IT and MI teams to understand business processes and requirements, identify constraints and opportunities, and recommend optimal solutions. This will include data quality management, design, data analysis, data reporting platforms, analytics platforms, knowledge management and reporting support services.


What you’ll need to do the job

You will have the required level of technical experience and ideally will have worked within the technology sector.
Excellent time management skills and ability to manage and deliver a variety of priority tasks, prioritising own workload to meet specific timescales without prompt
Experience in long-distance inter-departmental liaison and collaborative working
Finally, flexibility is required as you will be expected to travel across sites.

Main Responsibilities

You as the Quality and IMS Management Systems Coordinator will work cross-functionally and effectively integrate and enhance core business management systems into the Tarmac IMS through ownership and control of core processes and documents. The role will be responsible for providing integrity to business systems and documentation and support the ongoing coordination and delivery of business system accreditation across business units and registered locations. Your role as a Quality and IMS Management Systems Coordinator will include (not exhaustive):

• Management of core business documentation and processes across Tarmac business management systems, sharepoint and the Tarmac IMS
• Management and integration of Tarmac business sharepoint sites
• Effective change management control for core business procedures and manuals
• Administration of all business certification including registration with external bodies such as BSI, Lloyds, and UKAS
• Application of technical knowledge across Tarmac systems gained through establishing key relationships across Tarmac in order to fully understand core operations and processes
• Management of regular quality control data reporting sites from external suppliers including reporting to external sources
• Coordination of annual logbook processes including adaption and variations
• Provide support to systems related requests linked to commercial bids and prequalification requests
• Supporting top level external management system audits as required
• Bring best practice from other geographic areas via Q&S team to your area.
• Maintain awareness of all H&S issues through attendance at local briefings and discussions.
• Coordinate core data management reporting across the HSEQ function including support for month and year end performance data, internally, to CRH and externally.
• Supporting delivery of technology projects to further enhance business performance

Here at Serco, we are seeking a pro-active, self-motivated Service Quality and Assurance Lead to ensure that the My Technology Service teams are providing expectational excellence through management of feedback, and proactive quality monitoring of all contact type. You will oversee and implement best practise, developing and implementing processes to ensure customer care remains at the forefront of daily activities.

In this key role, you will be an integral member of the Service Operations Team working within a multi-client, SC cleared, ITIL compliant team and will work closely with team managers to ensure that feedback is acted upon constructively supporting and enhancing continual service improvement activity.
As part of this you’ll:

- Take ownership of quality review and associated processes for call quality, chat quality and ticket quality including measures and ensuring actions taken/ advise given are correct as well as high levels of customer service are offered.

- Develop and implement best practise in line with ITIL including Quality Control processes.

Duties

• Ensure improvement actions/recovery plans are implemented and escalate this to the Lead Commissioner if improvements are not made.
• Carry out a risk assessment of available quantitative and qualitative data in order to prioritise quality assurance and contract manage activities.
• Set up, participate in and contribute to Provider Review Meetings in consultation with the lead Commissioner as and when required.
• Carry out quality assurance visits to external placements and produce a report and action plan

Person Specification

• Experience of working within education/children's services plus experience of working in a contract management and administrative environment.
• Excellent working knowledge of contract management practices and techniques.
• A thorough understanding of the regulatory frameworks, ensuring that providers are appropriately registered, and when unregulated providers are used that local quality standards for the sector are understood and complied with.

As a voting member of the Trust Board the post holder will contribute to the full range of corporate decision making, strategy and policy development. They will attend and participate in Board and Committee meetings, making a full contribution to Board business and the Trust’s agenda.
Working closely with other executive colleagues, the post holder will be responsible to the Chief Executive and Trust Board for service user and patient healthcare outcomes, safety and experience. The post holder will be the professional lead for the majority of clinical professions (with the exception of the Medical and Psychological therapies professions), including nursing, Allied Health Professionals and social work. The post holder will be the Board lead for quality governance, quality improvements and assurance alongside the Executive Medical Director, and will fulfill the functions of the Board-level Nurse for the Trust.
Following the Trust becoming the Lead Provider for the Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health Provider Collaborative in April of this year, the post holder, alongside executive colleagues, will have a key role in delivery of the collaborative’s objectives, ensuring our commissioning arm is
operating appropriately and the development of a needs assessment-based strategy.
