Responsibilities

1. To competently identify the nature of an infestation and the most appropriate treatment/ management techniques. This decision should be based on knowledge gained through formal training, legislative restrictions, species specific biology, environmental protection considerations and site data.

7. To use, prepare, store and transport pesticides in line with COSHH regulations; ensuring that substances hazardous to health are properly controlled. Assist in preparing risk assessments and method statements.

8. When allocated a vehicle the post holder is responsible for ensuring that the vehicle is safely and correctly driven, is well maintained and roadworthy, and all plant and materials are safely stored. The role will sit within the Parliamentary Safety Team (PST) in the House of Commons Governance Office. The Role

• Experience in governance of all the Quality Assurance (QA) activities, test results, leaked defects, root cause analysis and identifying areas of improvement
• A strategic thinker with a proven ability to utilise existing test knowledge and experiences, along with the ability to produce practical solutions and alternatives to testing processes
• A self-starter and an excellent team player with a strong sense of ownership and commitment to quality
• Strong communication skills to ensure that QA vision is understood and implemented correctly with key stakeholders

Our client, a well-established and reputable dealership in Edgware, is dedicated to providing exceptional automotive services and ensuring customer satisfaction.

They are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester to join their team.

Location:
Edgware, London

Working Hours:
Monday - Friday: 08:00 - 17:00
Alternate Saturdays: 08:30 - 12:30

Salary:
Up to £33,000 basic, OTE £35,000 (plus benefits)

Role Overview:
As a Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, ensuring they meet safety standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough vehicle servicing, ensuring all checks are completed to a high standard.
• Perform diagnostics to identify and rectify vehicle issues effectively.
• Carry out general repairs, including brakes, suspension, and exhaust systems.
• Conduct MOT tests and ensure vehicles are roadworthy.
• Maintain accurate records of all work carried out and communicate effectively with customers.
