You will be required to monitor Direct Payment Accounts, confirming incoming and outgoing funds in each account.

Main duties include:

Maintaining accurate records and recording these on Excel Spreadsheets. Confirming the outgoing funds match the assessed needs of each client & indicating any inconsistencies found with the relevant person.

Working alongside three Local Authorities, liaising with social workers, social care teams, clients, care providers, support services and other departments within the company.

Ensuring the care needs of our clients are met. Creating client accounts and adding these to our company system.

Complete service review questionnaires with clients across the three Local Authorities and share any compliments or concerns communicated during the reviews.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work across both, Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust and The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust, in the role of Head of Nursing - Quality. Reporting to a Deputy Chief Nursing Officer, you will work collaboratively across both organisations to ensure that quality and safety are central in our pursuit of providing high quality patient care and experience.



In conjunction with a Deputy Chief Nursing Officer, the post holder will be required to define, scope, plan, manage and deliver the activities of nursing and midwifery quality improvements with clear project management structures and outcome measures to ensure that systems and processes are in place to consistently deliver the fundamentals of care across nursing and midwifery in all care settings within both Trusts. Furthermore, the post holder will lead the implementation and delivery of any agreed quality and safety monitoring approaches and accreditation programmes for the clinical areas and provide advice, guidance and support to Ward/Department teams on quality and safety issues.

The post holder will be an excellent nursing or midwifery leader, and a role model, highly visible in the clinical areas to implement and monitor the quality of care and to ensure that the fundamentals of care are consistently delivered. Work in collaboration with the Quality Improvement Teams to implement quality improvement initiatives in the clinical areas. Scope and implement national and international best practice applicable to the clinical areas. Facilitate programmes of organisational change for key projects in partnership with key stakeholders. Ensure meaningful multi-disciplinary involvement across all stakeholders, sufficient to negotiate and secure commitment to sustainable change. Facilitate and co-ordinate a range of Corporate, Local Commissioning and National Initiatives associated with the patient safety and quality agenda. • knowledge of current building control legislation, associated guidance and issues relevant to the post and be a practical problem solver
• ability to administer all forms and levels of building regulation applications
• knowledge and understanding of operating building control software systems
• ability to undertake all duties in accordance with the building control quality management system and building control performance standards policy adopted
• good IT skills, including Microsoft Office

You will also need to be aware of the new Building Safety Regime that will come into force in April 2024, which will require all building control professionals to be certified by the Building Safety Regulator (BSR). Manages the QMS software database including data entry, archiving of records, and managing retention of records in line with policies and procedures.
