About The Role:

As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Monitoring and responding to calls and requests from all Client locations and staff
• Understand the escalation procedures relating to issues or incidents and know when to escalate or deal locally
• Report to the Security Operations Centre Supervisor any incident outside of your experience or control and follow all actions and issues as required
• Receive out-of-hours calls from the client Helpdesk and escalate as required in line with procedures
• Produce high-quality Reports relating to all Incidents in a timely manner

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

• Must have Right to Work in the UK
• SIA licensed essential.
• Able to interact at all levels from visitors to senior management.
• Ability to lead a team with the ability to motivate, listen, support and communicate effectively

An exciting opportunity had arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated person to lead the ESNEFT medical Imaging department in obtaining accreditation for Quality standard in Imaging (QSI). You will be required to have a ‘can do’ attitude and be able to foster excellent relationships with colleague and other departments.This post is fixed term / secondment until 30th August 2025.

QSI is available to imaging services across the UK both within and outside the NHS. Accreditation is the formal recognition that an imaging service provider has demonstrated that it has an organizational competence to deliver against key performance measures. These measure require the department to achieve high standard of service in relation to patient centred care and choice, safety, fit for-purpose facilities and clinical practices. The standards are endorsed by the Royal college of radiologists and the Society and College of Radiographers.

You will need to inspire the team around them and provide confidence that accreditation process is progressing. This is a cross site role covering both our Colchester & Ipswich Hospital locations and Community Diagnostic Centres where applicable.

Internal applicants currently employed by ESNEFT will be offered on a secondment basis only. This will need to be discussed with your current line manager.
• To manage and supervise the accreditation and quality processes in the Diagnostic Imaging services, carrying out the required management and leadership tasks to support the accreditation processes

A senior post in Ipswich Borough Council in one of its largest front line services. The Maintenance and Contracts service spends circa. £25 million annually repairing, maintaining and improving a retained housing stock of approximately 7500 properties and 15 sheltered schemes to our local “Ipswich Standard”. The Council takes a holistic approach to building safety and stock management and has one seamless service that is now responsible for everything in connection with the asset management of that stock; from initial design to completing works on site on a right first-time basis using our own directly employed trade teams.

Compliance and Building Safety Manager will be a senior management post within the Maintenance & Contracts (Housing) service dedicated to continuous improvement, efficient services and improving housing safety and standards for our customers. Building Safety and Compliance is at the top of the Council’s priorities. Most of the compliance related contracts are managed by a number of Surveyors and Contract Managers, so your role would largely be working alongside these Officers and reporting on the compliance as a whole.

This opportunity is for a Senior QC Analyst Validation to join the QC Technical Services Team on a contract basis. The duration of the contract will be 23 months with a start date in October 2024.

Your Responsibilities

You will:

• Ensure effective troubleshooting of equipment or technique failures and troubleshooting of problems associated with various analytical techniques.
• Takes responsibility for promoting and improving technical skills and quality standards within QC.
• Sample, analyse and release API, drug products, test incoming raw materials and drug packaging, provide import testing for drug product batches, CDMO batch testing, In process samples, cleaning validation, verification analysis and batch release for raw materials.
• Write, review, and drive the completion of validation/analytical transfer activities, owning your analytical projects within the team.
• Develop, train and report validation and transfer activities within QC for new and existing clients.
• Perform effective reactive and proactive investigations, driving continuous improvements.
• Drive compliance working with QA and promote quality standards.
• Ensure that departmental objectives are implemented in line with the overall Quality/Corporate goals.
• Comply with all safety and GMP requirements within the Laboratory.
• Document all testing activities to regulatory standards.
• Participate in and facilitate improvement programs within the Laboratory.
• Ensure that all interactions and engagements are carried out with the highest ethical and professional standards and that all work is accomplished with quality and in accordance with the client’s values.
• Complete additional tasks considered necessary to meet business and customer requirements as indicated by the team leader.

Haverhill is proud to house the world’s largest, continuous production, pharmaceutical spray dryer and performs secondary packaging and release activities for oncology and rare disease medicines supporting global markets. The site also offers a contract testing and release facility within its laboratories.

Our Requirements

Sciences degree or equivalent in a relevant science subject.

Proven pharmaceutical experience handling HPLC, GC FTIR, UV, PXRD, DSC.

GMP knowledge coupled with proven experience of analytical method validation & transfer principles.
