Daniel Owen are working with a leading electrical contractor who are seeking Electrical Testers to join their team across their Social Housing contracts.

The purpose of the role is to carry out electrical installation testing in our customer's properties, produce reports to meet the requirements of BS7671 while always maintaining a safe working environment.

Electrical Tester - Single Phase Role:

• Carry out periodic inspections of client's electrical installations in accordance with the current edition of BS7671
• Produce Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR) which meets the requirements and quality standards of clients and external accrediting bodies (e.g., NICEIC)
• Perform other electrical tests and inspections, and produce the appropriate documentation in accordance with the current edition of BS7671
• Always adhere to Company Health & Safety Policies and Procedures
• Complete follow-on remedial works, where required

Electrical Tester - Single Phase Requirements:

• 18th Edition
• Level 3 Installation or equivalent
• 2391 Inspection and Testing
• Full UK Driving License

Your new role
Working within a dedicated Product Compliance and Quality function, you will collaborate with stakeholders in R&D, Supply Chain, and Marketing to ensure relevant compliance and legislation in all relevant territories is understood and maintained. Experience within a business that ships chemicals / blended fluid products, or other regulated products internationally is an advantage. You will be naturally detail focussed, and enjoy researching to fill in any knowledge gaps. You will also be a confident communicator, able to advise department heads, and present information in a concise and impactful way, to support your decisions and recommendations.

This position will offer the candidate £21.88 per hour.

Skills and experience required.

• Apprentice and/or Degree (or equivalent) in a Mechanical/Electrical Engineering discipline would be beneficial.
• Experience in Original Equipment Manufacturing / OEM's/
• Language skills would be an advantage to support international supplier contacts.
• A strong knowledge of Manufacturing processes, production quality control methods and systems, quality management systems, tools, and maturation processes.

My client\'s Air Quality team has enjoyed strong growth over recent years, with a wealth of new talent joining at Project and Senior grades. To help continue the successful growth the team has enjoyed over recent years, they are seeking a consultant with strong business development skills that is able to support in developing new client relationships and business capabilities, whilst maintaining an active role in technical output, project management and delivery.

You will be joining as part of a single, region-wide Air Quality team, with existing expertise allowing you to ensure project delivery of new work to the highest standards.

My client offers an enviable range of 31 individual Environmental, Advisory and Engineering technical disciplines, again all working in unison; so the range of services which they are able to offer clients is unrivalled; and cross discipline collaborative working and breadth of expertise available is key to their ongoing success. The role presents a great opportunity to combine the client\'s existing resources with your own expertise and knowledge, and to play a key role in shaping how the team grows moving forward.

Your new role

This role has dual focus; incorporating technical project delivery and business development. You will also be required to promote the client\'s air quality team in the marketplace, drive further growth and play a direct role in the delivery of a diverse range of projects.

You will join an exciting and dynamic team, and become involved in all aspects of project delivery from client liaison and task / project management, to report production and business development. This will include detailed dispersion modelling and assessment of transport and industrial air quality, odour assessments, input into EIAs and Environmental Permit applications and ambient air quality and odour monitoring for projects in the UK and abroad.

What you\'ll need to succeed

• Experienced Air Quality consultant with a strong business development track record.
• Proven work winning capability with excellent knowledge of market places and key clients.
• Technical experience to include dispersion modelling (e.g. Aermod/ADMS/ADMS Roads/DMRB), industrial air pollution, power generation, traffic emissions, dust and odour assessments
• Confident in both managing existing client relationships and developing new clients/workloads
• Line management experience desirable but not essential.

Role: Senior Service Delivery Specialist (Project Co-Ordinator)
Fixed Term Contract 12 months initial (FTC)
Location: Lancaster - commutable

In this role you will act as the first point of contact and providing high quality support to specified clients. Your focus will be to co-ordinate internal resources to ensure key tasks are delivered in line with required learning outcomes and in accordance with contract terms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain project plans and track progress to ensure successful delivery of projects.
• Liaise internally with colleagues to ensure all quality standards are achieved.
• Maintain strong relationships with members of the client team.
• Produce insightful reports for clients to support the management of their programmes and events.
• Raise issues that may impact the RAID log
• Escalate risks to ensure appropriate action is taken to mitigate them.
• Deliver high levels of customer service to assist the wider sales team in developing strategic client relationships.

Key Skills / Experience Required:

• Great Microsoft Office - including Excel using vlook up, pivot tables highly desirable
• Experience within a highly client-centric environment, servicing a wide range of offerings
• Working to tight deadlines with high levels of accuracy
• Experience of implementing improvements to business process
• Experience in offering solutions to more complex queries
