Sales Estimator

£25k per annum, 28 days holiday including Bank Holidays

Concept Recruitment are delighted to be working with our Leeds based manufacturing client to recruit a Sales Estimator on a full time, permanent basis.

Working as part of a small office-based team, the successful candidate will have a pro-active approach and experience of working in a sales estimator/administrator role.

Role Responsibilities:

· Proactively maintaining and developing existing customer base to drive and increase sales
· Responding to new sales enquiries, from costing to follow up, in a timely and effective manner
· Generating quotes and tenders
· Building customer relationships by providing technical and professional experience
· Processing new and repeat orders
· Purchasing raw materials
· Processing and managing orders for the Ecommerce site
· Dealing with and resolving customer complaints in an effective, professional and courteous manner

Person Specification:

· Previous experience in a similar role is essential
· Self-motivated with a desire to learn new skills and develop existing knowledge
· Industry/manufacturing knowledge is desirable but not essential
· Sound commercial experience and good numerical skills
· Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
· Pro-active in managing new and existing sales accounts
· Able to build relationships at all levels of an organisation
· Up-beat, friendly and professional approach
· Comfortable to work as part of a small team
· Good team player, willing to help and support sales colleagues
· Competent IT skills
· Excellent eye for detail is essential
· Full clean driving licence is desirable but not essential

This a full-time position working Monday to Thursday, 8am to 5pm and Friday, 8am to 3pm.
