Money and Pensions Service are a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation committed to achieving outstanding results. As a Corporate Performance and Analysis Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the success by optimising performance across all levels of the company.
The Corporate Performance and Analysis Manager will report directly to Head of Performance and Planning and manage a team of three analyst specialists. In this role you will be responsible for the following;
- Designing, implementing and communicating the organisation’s performance evaluation strategy
- Being the key organisational adviser on appropriate performance and impact indicators and metrics, and ensuring that all staff, up to and including Executive Directors, understand the performance requirements
- Developing, implementing and managing processes for tracking and reporting progress against corporate performance standards
- Ensuring that the organisation identifies relevant and cost-effective sources to inform performance metrics and gathers high quality, timely and relevant information from these sources.
- Commissioning bespoke measuring products for the organisation and managing contracts with software and other suppliers
- Extracting, interpreting, summarising and communicating key metrics and business insight focusing on the impact of our products and service offerings to customer groups.
- Producing metric-based reports and business analysis that is included in key internal and external publications.
- Ensuring the organisation has in place and uses the most effective strategies, methodologies, networks, systems, and other techniques relevant to performance management.
- Identifying best practice outside the organisation and appropriate sources of benchmarking information
- Achieving effective stakeholder management of relevant insight partners and commentators.
- Timely and relevant analysis of organisational datasets
- Contributing to cross team project working and knowledge sharing
you will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience;
- Influencing skills to ensure the customer is at the heart of business decisions.
- Deep knowledge of developing performance metrics and effectively embedding them into organisations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with hands on experience working with complex datasets.
- Proven capability for applying complex analytics and data modelling to business situations.
- Capability in advanced Excel applications (i.e. VBA programming level).
- Strong track record in the creation and maintenance of Access databases.
- Strong track record of providing business analysis reporting through the aggregation of disparate data-streams.
- Proven capability to carry out situation, option and impact assessments, gap analyses and performance reviews.
- Experience of effective knowledge working and sharing approaches.
- Ability to present complex information and interpretation effectively to different audiences (e.g. management, industry groups, customer groups).
- Ability to use PowerPoint or similar to tell a succinct business story.
- People/team management skills and experience
