Main Duties of the Job: Formulate, implement, and monitor progress of the SUS and CC projects to ensure that programmes and project work streams are planned, documented, and managed effectively to assist in their successful delivery. This will also include responsibility for preparing documentation and tracking project plans and benefits. Provide administrative and project support to the Speaking Up Safely and Culture Change team. Organise and coordinate meetings, workshops, and events. Many of our teams work online with a mix of home or hybrid (office) working. Where homeworking is required, you will be given the necessary equipment and training, however, you will need to arrange your own internet connectivity (support may be available to help with this).
The Business & Project Support Team provide a wide variety of support to teams across the Adults, Housing & Communities directorate ranging from financial assistance, to arranging and taking meetings, to ad-hoc project support.
• Gain experience of working in a Project Management environment including attending /shadowing meetings to gain project management experience and background
• Undertake a range of project support tasks as needed eg assisting with the production of documents, document updates, low level business analysis and production of charts or information for reports etc.
• Use of our financial monitoring software (SAP) to assist the team to raise invoices and Purchase Orders.
• Arranging project meetings or meetings for senior management.
• Creating a record of meeting discussions eg drafting Minutes of Meeting
• Use of key business support software such as Sharepoint, Microsoft Office Applications eg Excel, PowerBi, Teams etc

Key Objectives of the Decarbonisation Project Surveyor role:

Assist the Decarbonisation and Major works Manager to oversee the contract and project management of decarbonisation/energy efficiency and major works projects.

Responsible for achieving and delivering agreed objectives and outcomes as set by the Decarbonisation and Major works Manager.

Responsible for managing operational works related to decarbonisation projects.

Ensuring works are carried out within budget with regular reporting to the Decarbonisation and Major Works Manager

Responsible for conducting monthly contractor meetings and ensuring they are recorded highlighting to the Decarbonisation and Major Works Manager of risks and opportunities.

Ensure that all work is monitored and undertaken in accordance with Health and Safety regulations and Lincs contractors code of conduct.

Ensure that all works are undertaken to a high quality and in line with agreed specification.

Assist the Decarbonisation and Major works Project Manager to prepare contract documents and tendering documentation for decarbonisation/energy efficiency including liaising with all necessary parties to ensure works are undertaken in accordance with all legal, procurement and Lincs internal policy requirements.

Ensuring all Compliance elements of contracts are managed to ensure Linc is compliant under the HASAW and the relevant regulations relating to the works.
