The Role:
Responsible for ensuring that Charlotte Tilbury is at the forefront of beauty in the region – driving trading to deliver number one in all retailers, our proposition & launches should be innovative and better than our competitors, and the teams will be the best in the in beauty industry. The Head of Sales & Education will be an inspirational role model and an outstanding brand ambassador that continually evolves the CT retail offering, a natural networker who is always a step ahead of the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Specialist in developing strong customer relationships, long-term partnerships & achieving priority positioning for Charlotte Tilbury
- Regular facilitation of successful negotiations to identify & develop strategic partnerships to support key initiatives to drive brand & category results with key retailers
- Dynamic sales leader able to identify & align talent to build successful sales teams to scale for opportunity
- Vision & Market intelligence: develop strategic channel strategy both online & office across domestic market and Travel Retail in HK&MO
- Operationally savvy in creating long-term scalable distribution plans
- Lead, mentor, manage & inspire a team of Field Executives for Sales, Education and Artistry & Development
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and to expand the CTB brand awareness and customer base
- Liaison & collaborate with CTB cross functional teams to create efficiencies and service levels for field and customers
- Plan, negotiate and lead execution of new product and event strategies through education
- Develop strategy for all new products: Forecast pipe, initial sell-through and annual sell through expectation as well as results-oriented education strategies
- Strong analytical skills to build accurate forecasting with clear justifications
- Elevate brand awareness through major industry events, makeup trade shows, and clear education messaging
- Maximising company profit through leadership and efficiencies
- Foreseeing and avoiding stagnation in the marketplace
- Dovetail sales & education strategies to keep our company competitive and innovative
- Leading the development and implementation of what it means to be a Team Tilbury artist — what we recruit for and how, how we train, develop, incentivise and retain our artists
- Inspire & develop a world-class field team
- Collaborate with Product Development, Marketing and Store Design to develop commercial strategies to support new product launches
- Evaluating new business opportunities
Key Selection Criteria:
- 10+ years’ experience related to strong sales & retail operations experience
- Inspirational by nature yet self-driven for results
- Strong analytical competencies. Ability to analyse business identifying key opportunities
- Strong interpersonal skills, negotiation and presentation abilities
- Elevated skills in partnership and negotiation for long-lasting retailer relationships
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Operational knowledge with strong people development skills
